The School Reopening Ceremony for the academic year 2026–27 at SVVHSS Kodlamogaru was celebrated with great enthusiasm and grandeur.The students were warmly welcomed with a School Reopening Song. The programme was inaugurated by Grama Panchayat Member Mr. Gopalakrishna Pajva. The President of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), Mr. Abdul Majeed, extended his best wishes to the students. The Vice President of the PTA, Mr. Mohan Master, delivered the introductory address. Anti-Tobacco Day was observed on 18-06-2026 at Sri Vani Vijaya Higher Secondary School, Kodlamogaru. On this occasion, Mrs. Karthika, a staff member of the Vorkady Gram Panchayat, participated in the program and created awareness among students about the harmful effects of tobacco consumption. She explained the health problems caused by tobacco use and its impact on society. Later, the students took a pledge to refrain from using tobacco and to spread awareness among others about its dangers. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ವೋರ್ಕಾಡಿ ಗ್ರಾಮ ಪಂಚಾಯತ್ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಕಾರ್ತಿಕಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ, ತಂಬಾಕು ಸೇವನೆಯ ದುಷ್ಪರಿಣಾಮಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸಿದರು. ತಂಬಾಕು ಬಳಕೆಯಿಂದ ಉಂಟಾಗುವ ವಿವಿಧ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮಾಜದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅದರ ದುಷ್ಪರಿಣಾಮಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅವರು ವಿವರವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ನಂತರ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಂಬಾಕು ಸೇವನೆ ಮಾಡದಿರಲು ಹಾಗೂ ಅದರ ದುಷ್ಪರಿಣಾಮಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಇತರರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸುವುದಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದರು.

The main objective of the exhibition was to develop reading habits among students and to create awareness about literature in different languages. The exhibition featured a wide collection of books in Kannada, Hindi, and Sanskrit. These included storybooks, poetry, biographies, plays, moral stories, religious texts, and works of renowned authors. A special section was dedicated to Kannada Vachana literature, introducing students to the teachings and values of the great Vachana saints. Students and teachers visited the exhibition with great enthusiasm. Teachers explained the importance of reading, the value of literature, and the unique features of Kannada, Hindi, and Sanskrit literary works. The exhibition encouraged students to explore books in different languages and inspired them to develop a lifelong reading habit. The programme was informative, engaging, and appreciated by everyone. It successfully promoted a love for books and enriched the students' knowledge of literature.
The PTA General Body Meeting of SVVHSS Kodlamogaru was held on 13 July 2026 with the active participation of parents, teachers, and members of the School Management Committee. The meeting began with a welcome address by HSS Principal Mr. Vijayakumar. Headmistress Mrs. Krishnaveni B presented the statement of accounts, followed by the presentation of the Annual Report by Mrs. Swathi, Teacher.
