School Reopening Ceremony – Academic Year 2026–27

 
 
 

The School Reopening Ceremony for the academic year 2026–27 at SVVHSS Kodlamogaru was celebrated with great enthusiasm and grandeur.The students were warmly welcomed with a School Reopening Song. The programme was inaugurated by Grama Panchayat Member Mr. Gopalakrishna Pajva. The President of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), Mr. Abdul Majeed, extended his best wishes to the students. The Vice President of the PTA, Mr. Mohan Master, delivered the introductory address. The Principal of the Higher Secondary School, Mr. Vijayakumar, PTA office bearers Mr. Usman and Mr. Hameed Kaniyoor, the Vice President of the Mother PTA, Mrs. Reshma, and member Mrs. Vishalakshi were present on the occasion. Mrs. Poornima administered the Cyber Safety Pledge and all the students took the pledge. The Headmistress, Mrs. Krishnaveni B., delivered the welcome address, and Mrs. Swathi compered the programme. The celebration concluded with the distribution of sweets to all the students.

World Environment Day was celebrated at the Panchayat level in Sri Vani Vijaya Higher Secondary School, Kodlamogaru.The programme was inaugurated by Mr. Ummar Borkala, President of Vorkady Grama Panchayat, who spoke about the significance of World Environment Day and the importance of protecting the environment. The function was presided over by Mrs. Fathimath Naseema, Vice President of Vorkady Grama Panchayat. Mr. Gopalakrishna Pajva, Member of Vorkady Grama Panchayat, conveyed his best wishes for the programme. Mr. Abdul Majeed, President of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) and Chairman of the Development Standing Committee of Vorkady Grama Panchayat, addressed the gathering on the importance of environmental conservation. The dignitaries present on the dais included Panchayat members Mrs. Gayathri, Mrs. Geetha, Mrs. Leela, Mr. Abubakkar, Mr. Narayana, Mr. Purushothama, Higher Secondary Principal Mr. Vijayakumar, and Headmistress Mrs. Krishnaveni B. During the programme, the President and members of Vorkady Grama Panchayat were felicitated with mementoes in recognition of their service.Mr. Jayaram, Assistant Agricultural Officer, administered the Environment Protection Pledge, which was taken by all the students .The programme began with a welcome address by Mr. Shivakumar, Agricultural Officer of Vorkady, and concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Mrs. Asha, Teacher.The celebration concluded with a tree plantation drive in the school campus, reinforcing the message of environmental conservation.

An AI Awareness Training session for parents was conducted on Thursday, 4 June 2026, at 3:45 PM. The program was inaugurated by the Headmistress Smt. Krishnaveni B.The session was led by Dhyan, Harsha, and Shreesiddhi, members of the 2024–27 Little Kites batch, who introduced parents to the basics and applications of Artificial Intelligence.A total of 48 parents attended the training. They expressed highly positive feedback about the session and appreciated the students for their confident and informative presentation. Little Kites Mentors Smt. Pushpalatha and Mr. Madhu Shyam were also present during the programme.

An AI Awareness Training session for parents was conducted on 16 June 2026 at 3:45 PM. The programme was inaugurated by the Headmistress of the school. The session was conducted by Dhyan, Harsha, and Shreesiddhi, students of the 2024–27 Little Kites batch. They introduced parents to the fundamentals and applications of Artificial Intelligence.A total of 56 parents participated in the training. They shared positive feedback about the session, appreciated the students for their excellent presentation, and clarified their doubts through interaction with the student trainers. Little Kites Mentors Ms. Pushpalatha and Mr. Madhu Shyam were also present during the programme.

The session was presented by the Little Kites students. The program was inaugurated by the Headmistress, Mrs. Krishnaveni B. The program was attended by the JRC Coordinator Mr. Harinath K. P. and Little Kites Mentors Mr. Madhu Shyam and Mrs. Pushpalatha. During the training, students were introduced to the basics of Artificial Intelligence, its applications, and its importance in today’s education and society. The program was conducted successfully, and the students actively participated with great enthusiasm.

An Artificial Intelligence (AI) Awareness Training program was successfully conducted for the Little Kites Batch 2024–27 at SVVHSS Kodlamogaru. The session aimed to introduce students to the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence and its growing role in modern education and daily life. The training was designed to enhance digital awareness and technical understanding among students. The program was conducted by the Little Kites mentors and student members. The session was inaugurated by the Headmistress, Mrs. Krishnaveni B.The program was attended by the mentors Mr. Madhu Shyam and Mrs. Pushpalatha, along with the concerned teachers.Students actively participated in the session and gained valuable insights into AI concepts and its practical applications. The training program was concluded successfully.

Anti-Tobacco Day was observed on 18-06-2026 at Sri Vani Vijaya Higher Secondary School, Kodlamogaru. On this occasion, Mrs. Karthika, a staff member of the Vorkady Gram Panchayat, participated in the program and created awareness among students about the harmful effects of tobacco consumption. She explained the health problems caused by tobacco use and its impact on society. Later, the students took a pledge to refrain from using tobacco and to spread awareness among others about its dangers. The school Headmistress, Mrs. Krishnaveni B., and all the teachers were present at the event. The students enthusiastically participated in the program and expressed their commitment to building a tobacco-free society. The program proved helpful in creating anti-tobacco awareness among the students.

On the occasion of the death anniversary of P. N. Panicker, Reading Week celebrations were inaugurated on 19-06-2026 at Sri Vani Vijaya Higher Secondary School, Kodlamogaru (SVVHSS Kodlamogaru). The program was inaugurated by the Headmistress of the school, Mrs. Krishnaveni B. On this occasion, Mathematics teacher Mrs. Asha spoke about the importance of reading and its role in the lives of students. Jyothsna, a student of Class 9, delivered a speech on the significance of reading. During the program, Kannada teacher Ajith delivered the welcome address. Teacher Soumya proposed the vote of thanks. Teachers and students of the school participated in the event and pledged to promote a culture of reading.
