Choose What You Can

Life is beautiful and amazing. From birth to death a person has to go through different stages of his life. First a cute baby, then an innocent child, then a teenager and so on. While traveling through this challenging life sometimes a person would be confused. It will be decision making or choosing.
Life will not always be the way it used to be. We get confused. Choosing things will be really hard and sometimes even something which you really don’t like will be your only option. Choosing can be anything. It can be your profession, or place to stay or sometimes even a new life. We will not be able to choose what we want.
At points like that what we should not do is to quit. What we should do is to choose what we can. We can’t say how our life will lead us. Maybe what we like to choose won’t be good or good enough for us. The chances our life gives us maybe the way to help us to be whom we really are and whom we are supposed to be.
When an old car company made their first cars they made all of them black in colour. When a customer came and asked to the manager which all colours can he choose he said any colour you like as all cars were black in colour. Sometimes life will be like this. We cannot really chose what we want. At situations like that an ordinary man quits; but a warrior still stands with courage in his heart. All of us should be warriors not a simple personalities. Choose what we can and they will never be bad for you.
As a nine year old child I also had to face a situation like this. I used to live in Alappuzha, was born at Thrissur but don’t remember anything  happened there as I was a small baby. I just know tales about that place which my parents told me and some photos. At Alappuzha I had a lot of friends and relatives. I wasn’t even able to think about leaving that place. The only thing which I wasn’t fond of there was my school. I didn’t really enjoyed school life . A school with unusual laws and regulations.
After my fourth standard, I had to shift to my new home at Trivandrum which I didn’t agreed at first. Leaving my friends and most beloved ones were hard for me. But I had to choose what I can. After coming here at first it was hard for me. Then I got used to it. I came to a better school with new good friends. Now I am so happy. I chose what I was able to and it happened to be really good for me.
We won’t be able to choose what we want always. Hard times will come, but God has gave us the unique power!! The power to rise and fly like Phoenix. So don’t quit. Choose what we can always. It will lead us to the right path.
