BACK TO GREENERY A thing of beauty is a joy forever. Greenery of our beloved nature brings an amenity to our eyes and anew to our mind. Presently, could anyone be a splendid enjoyer of nature? The ethereal essence has vanished from our eyesight. Children as of now get to see less of greenery and more of technologically driven software parks. Fortunately we have come to a point where can bring the world of flora to our homes. This notion is better, yet we are not at all equipped with enough materials to restore the elegancy of our environment. Increased intervening of human population account to the deterioration of pretty nature. Over exploitation of natural resources leads to deforestation and thus destruction of ecosystem. The increase in number of vehicles and industries annex the rate of pollution. Everyone is aware of the consequences of utilizing our farmlands for industrial as well as commercial purposes. Our English coursebook discusses a satire " Rice " by Chemmanam Chacko. In this poem, he criticizes the shortsightedness of the farmers who have turned to profitmaking cash crops. With the onslaught of globalization and liberalization, the traditional agriculture has disappeared. Nowadays, nobody is unaware of the effects of human activities but simply neglect it. A return to the past is quite difficult for our modern computer era. But a simple way to preserve our nature and thereby our existence is to plant some trees. In the emerging world scenario, interior decoration has become a passion. That venture is enough for regaining our greenery. Being ecofriendly is another challenge. Natural as well as man made facilities are with us for making ecosystem as our friend. All what needed is a great desire and a mindset and that will reap fruit of success. Thus, our as well as our future generations could enjoy the greenery of our nature and thereby assure the existence of all living beings.So just two tips - Plant trees and Be ecofriendly.
