My School

The bell rings loud at nine o'clock,

I run to class and drop my smock.

My teacher smiles and says hello,

We learn the things we need to know.

The chalkboard's filled with sums to do,

I share my bright red pen with you.

At lunch we run and jump and play,

It is the best part of my day.

My school is where I love to be,

A second home for friends and me.
