THE LION AND FOX Once there lived a lion in the forest. He was very cruel and always seemed to be lazy..He was living in a cave. He was not at all interested to fulfill his own needs by his efforts. So for having his prey, he always used to cheat others. He used to sit in the cave by pretending that he was sick. The intention of lion was to eat the animals when they moves near to him. The sick condition of lion dragged all the animals towards him. By watching the situation of lion the other animals in the forest felt pity in him. They used to enter the cave for consoling him and to enquire about his health. Suppose one or two animals entered the cave they were not returning back. The lion was eating them. Like the lion was getting at least one animal a day. One day a fox visited the lion's cave for seeking about his conditions. But fox used to remain a distance from the lion's cave..The lion hungrily asked: 'Oh why are you still standing there, you always have an affectionate welcome to my cave..come near to me,I am highly intented to have your presence. The fox said,' Thankyou for your words lord, But I have noticed that there is some marks of animals that went inside but there was no marks for the animals that went outside..I know what's your intention, Thus telling like these, the fox ran away immediately. The lion felt so angry on thinking of the cleverest action of fox. MORAL : cleverness can defeat obstacles.
