OUR NATURE-OUR RESPONSIBILITY
Nature is considered as our mother. Observing nature always inspires our mental and physical state. We are always curious about the wonders of nature. Some kind of mystic force drives us towards Mother Nature. We could spend hours staring at sea and realizing how fascinating our world is, we are aware about only few droplets of vast knowledge. I always wonder why nature inspires us even though we haven’t done anything special for our nature.
Nature has been nurturing life for a four and half million years. Nature doesn’t depend upon us, we depend on her. Our future depends upon her. We thrive on the lap of our mother Nature. When nature thrives, we thrive and when nature falls, we too fall. Nature gave birth to millions of species and kept feeding them for years.
But on the present days, we are killing our nature. When we are progressing in science, technologies, through development, we are destroying the internal balance of our mother Nature. Our activities on nature caused the extinction of many species. Biodiversity has declined.
We are going to regret for our activities. Our earth was handed over to us by our forefathers. But what we give to our future generation was, a messed up earth, where life can’t thrive. Water bodies have polluted, rate of deforestation increased, resources became limited, population went steadily increased.
Now we should start panicking. Because, we are killing our life support system. We belong to a huge family where selfish acts should be neglected. Nature showed us many symbols for the decomposition of polluted materials. Global warming, Polar Ice Melting... But all of us are ignoring them. Now it’s time for the action. Sustainable development- That’s all we need now. We should consider the concerns of our nature.
Plant more trees, prevent water pollution, the injuries that we made to our mother should be healed by our karma.
