TREACHEROUS FRIENDS "Oh....Sam Look...!" Vijay exclaimed. Sam and Vijay were thick friends. Sam was bold and clever. He is middle aged. Vijay was not too much clever. A slim youngster. Not at all bold as Sam. One day they went to a forest. After reaching the forest they become hungry. They walked through the forest in search of food. "Oh....Sam Look...!" Vijay exclaimed. "What" Sam asked "Look friend, a lion " - Vijay The lion was crouching behind the trees. There was no way of escape for them. Moving away from Vijay, Sam approached the lion alone. "You seem to be very hungry. I can trap my friend Vijay for you. But you must promise not to hurt me" The lion agreed to Sam's suggestion. Sam and Vijay continued on their journey. Suddenly, Sam pushed Vijay in to a ditch. He then ran back to the lion and said. "Hey lion , I have kept my word. My friend Vijay is in the ditch. You can come with me, kill and eat him" The lion accompanied Sam to the ditch where Vijay lay. "The ditch is very deep. Vijay could never escape. He could be killed and eaten any time. So I should eat Sam first" Lion said The lion turned on Sam. Sam trembled with fear. "Hey lion, you had promised not to hurt me", he pleaded with the lion. "You are a cheat . You betrayed your friend.
