Aptitude Test 2024

 

Aptitude test of 2024 - 27 batch was conducted on June 13 for 58 students in 21 systems. 77 children wrote the aptitude test. One child was absent. Result uploaded in LKMS system. The exam included various questions in IT technology general knowledge, animation and programming sections. 40 children received section.

UNIFORM AND ID CARD DISTRIBUTION

Date - 15-08-2024 Manjeshwara: The KITE (Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education) distributed identity cards and Uniforms to high school students at the Little Kites IT Club. The ID card and Uniforms will be given to those who participate in all the activities of Little Kites, the largest student IT community in India. There are 40 students in S.A.T.High School who are members of Little Kites IT Club. Kite Leader Anoop handed over the identity card and Uniforms to School Manager Sri Prashanth Hegde and Headmistress Smt. Surekha Mallya M. Little Kites Master Kiran Kumar, PTA President Abdul Basheer,Sunil Bhat and Little Kites Mistress Shushma Bangera G were also present on the occasion.

PRELIMINARY CAMP

 

One day preliminary camp 2024 for children of 40 Little Kites Batch was conducted on 16/08/2024, friday. The class started at exactly 10 am. The class was conducted by Manjeshwara sub district Mater trainner PRIYA CH. The children were divided into 8 groups using words related to advanced technology in order to arouse children's curiosity in technology. The one-day training is very important as the first meeting of the members.The main objective of this one-day training is to shed light on the diverse activities that each Little Kites will be involved in during the next two years. Activities in the camp were conductedin Different sessions. Such as group formation, Activities Quiz competition, LK Unit Discussion, Scratch Programming, Animation, Robotics , course briefing, responsibilities of Little Kites members. Then various activities were given on group basis and the groups were awarded points. Children were introduced to various topics like animation, Little Kites objectives, game using scratch three, robotics, etc. Kite master Kiran Kumar thanked everyone. The training program ended at exactly 2.30 o'clock. Little Kites Master Kiran Kumar, and Little Kites Mistress Sushma G Bangera were also present on the occasion

Parent conference Meeting:

 

A meeting of parents of Little Kites children of 8th class was held on Friday 16/08/2024 at 2.30pm at Main Hall. Manjeshwara sub district Mater trainner PRIYA CH  took the class on what Little Kites is, its objectives, school activities and curriculum. This meeting helped to make the parents aware of the various activities of Little Kites Children's School. Joint SITC Smt. Sowmya K welcomed the camp which was Inaugurated by Head Mistress Smt, Surekha Mallya M. The program was presided over by PTA President Abdull Basheer congratulated. Little kite Mistress Bangera thanked everyone.

UBUNTU GRAMA PROJECT

Little Kites students conducted a door-to-door campaign to raise awareness about Ubuntu software and organized installation sessions for those interested.

The Little Kites students document every school activity as news, edit it using Kden Live software, and upload the final video to YouTube at the end of each month.

SCHOOL ONAM CAMP

IT-Based Workshop at SAT Educational Institution

On the occasion of the centenary celebrations of Shri Math Anantheshwara Temple Schools, a two-day IT-based workshop was inaugurated at SAT School under the joint sponsorship of the school’s Little Kites and Team Shastra. The event was presided over by CA Sunil Bhat, Chairman of the School Centenary Committee. The workshop was inaugurated with a lamp-lighting ceremony by District Education Officer Dinesh V, who spoke about how Kerala's education system has become high-tech and how such workshops strengthen the technological skill development programs in public educational institutions. These programs aid in the overall development of students for their future stages in life. He wished for the centenary celebrations to remain ever-memorable and mentioned that the introduction of digital surveys for students would take place in the coming days.

Kasargod District IT Coordinator, Roji Joseph, spoke at the event and launched the SAT Educational Institution’s YouTube news channel. He expressed appreciation for the district-level award won by the school in the state division and wished them success in achieving a state-level award in the coming academic year. Mehul Kini, head of Team Shastra, provided details about the two-day workshop.

The dais was graced by Prashant Pai, Treasurer of Shri Math Anantheshwara Temple, School Manager Prashant Hegde, Higher Secondary Principal Suman Ail, School Headmistress Surekha Mallya M, Abdul Basheer B, President of the PTA's Higher Secondary Division, Vice President Ayesha, and member Ibrahim, all of whom conveyed their well-wishes. Little Kites students led the prayer, while Beena, representing the Centenary Welcome Committee and a teacher at the school, extended a warm welcome. Shanteri Shenai, a teacher and Centenary Committee member, concluded with a vote of thanks.
