The Intelligent Crow Heated discussions were taking place in a King's court. Suddenly the countries were startled to hear the cawing of a crow. the palace guards had a tough time chasing the crow away. But once the guards were out of sight, the crow flew back to the court and startled cawing in a loud voice the guards came with sharp spears to scare away the crow. However the crow kept on coming back. It seemed that it was not ready to leave the palace premises. The King figured out that the crow had come to air. Some grievance as the king it was his duty to solve all the problems in his Kingdom. He ordered the guards : " don't drive it away. I am sure it as got something to tell us. Go and find out the reason and report it to me as soon as possible." The crow seemed to have understood what the King said. It flew way followed by the guards soon they reached on open ground. The crow flew on to the branches of a tree that stood in the middle of the ground. Then it began calling out aloud and flaying around the trees restlessly. It was as if it wanted to communicate something. Then the guards noticed the some wood cutters were busy preparing to cut down that tree. On the tree they saw a nest with the crow hatching three or four in number the guards realised the gravity of the situation. It was clear that the crow wanted the woodcutters to be stopped from cutting down the tree. The guards forbade the wood cutters from harming the tree. The crow and its young ones were now safe and sound then they returned to the palace and reported the whole incident to the King, who was happy to know that justice was done.
