"Ma.....I'm leaving"Jo shouted from his room. “Where are you up to? “Colin enquired by eating her evening snack."Ma..I already told you about the evening match, please let me go." "Jo! You haven't finished your online classes yet! Then how can you go for the match? “Colin dropped her sandwich and stood up. “Ma....You promised me...right?" Jo started to sob. He threw his cricket bat and walked away. “Colin! Please be kind to him, moreover he is a child .Let him go and play .Why are you urging with kids? “Joseph quarrelled and continued his coffee.
Jo walked to his room and sat on his balcony and stared at the rustling leaves. He always found happiness from the nature. He is a 10 year old boy. He loves to play cricket more thananything. But Colin, his stepmother won't allow him to play with his friends .This made him suffer a lot. But he won't show any rival towards her. He still loved her. As usual his own father is under the control of his stepmother. He has a small Brother, Jim. Colin hated Jo playing with her baby. She always hated him and blamed him. Suddently Jo saw something outside down the old oak tree. He got up and looked curiously at it. It was a living thing with green coloured figure. Within seconds Jo ran towards the Old oak tree. He walked towards it without any fear and started to examine......
It was a green coloured creature with blue eyes and a wide mouth with the size of a teddy bear, all together it was really cute. Being impressed on its figure Jo took it with his left hand and stared at it. He ran to his room holding it tight. Jo placed it on the table and started to enquire.
"Hello friend. Who are you? Where are you from? Please let me know your good name?"
Nothing happened. It just stared at him with its magical blue eyes Jo was attracted with its features. But he didn't stop his enquiry. He started again and again in all language he knew.
"Hallo wie been jij?"
"
Salut bonjour d'oh venezvous?"
"quien eres tu'?"
He tried in Dutch, French, Spanish and every language he could try. But it's staring blue eyes was the result. Then he got another idea. He turned and took a pen and paper. He gave it to him. He again noticed its eyes were not moving it stood still.
It looked at the paper and pen for a minute and raised his head. For surprise two horns rose from his head with a glowing look. Jo was amazed for a moment. Unexpectedly he noticed that his new friend was eating his paper and pen. He became confused.
"What…!!!! Why are you eating my paper and pen?" He shouted. Being scared of his new friend, he bought some apples from the kitchen. On the way to his room he noticed his cricket bat laying on the kitchen floor which he threw before and took it to his own room.
"OH! Jesus! Where is it.? I kept it right there...on my table.....and now where is it? "
His new friend was missing then. Jo stared to search for him. But he couldn't find it all over his room. He became exhausted and jumped into the bed. Being silent for a second he heard some scrambling voice. He stood up and turned his head around. He raised his head and looked at the fan.
There...it's there...on the fan! “He yelled by jumping towards the fan. But he couldn't reach the height. Then he decided to do the task. He walked and switched on the fan.
'Whoop....'it flew down at one spin . Jo jumped and caught it as if he used to catch the cricket ball during the match. After the searching game he became extremely tired and by seeing its cute face he began to relax himself.
He again started to enquire it but the only result was its raising horns and its magical blue eyes. Jo became confused about what to do with his new arrival.
All of sudden he saw his friend was eating his books which were on his table. Jo took away his Belongings and stared it in a polythene bag.
Instantly he heard a knock on his door. He placed his new friend and the polythene bag in the shelf .He pretend to be normal and walked towards the door. He opened the door slowly "Jo...What are you doing?" It was joseph. He carried a cup of tea with him.
"Papa....I was just sleeping ..."Joseph walked away without saying anything. But Jo was not bothered about it because his mind was with his new friend.
He came near his shelf and opened it.
"Ahhh!! " He shouted with fear. "Where are my books? “He yelled at it. He placed in on his table and took the pieces of polythene bag and dropped it to the floor. He sat on the bed and started murmuring “Did you know? Those was my favourite books "
Immediatly he noticed that his new friend was eating the pieces of polythene which he dropped before. A great idea rose in his mind.
He recollected the conversation of his parents while watching news. He remember the news headlines about the polythene bags becoming a curse for environment.

A new idea arrived in his mind. He again and again gave more and more plastic to his new friend. It ate them like a hungry baby. Whenever he gave it food its horn rises and it smiles. Jo was really pleasant to see his new polythene eater.
The next day Jo woke up by hearing a soft voice. It was a beep sound from his friend. But he couldn't find what it was! After his daily routine he turned on his laptop for his online classes. Soon he saw a red Laser point on his laptop. He turned back and saw the origin of it. It was from his friends blue eyes. He was puzzled and continued his classes. The Laser beam vanished. Jo was searching for a pen. "Where did it go?"Jo murmured.
"It's there on the table". A voice behind him said.
Jo took the pen from his table and turned with surprise....."What!!! Was that you???My friend?
Are you able to talk now? “He asked to his new friend sitting on the bed behind him with its non-moving blue eyes...
"Yes,Jo.. Good morning ....I learnt this new language from the network in your laptop.we can learn any thing with scanning with my eyes..." His friend replied with a cute wide smile
Jo was really happy and he continued his enquiry and he realized that it was an ALIEN from outer space and it loves those plastic wastes very much . Jo was surprised that it finished the all unwanted plastic wastes in his home. They became best friends.
The next 4 months changed his entire life.
He was awarded many prizes for reducing the plastic waste in his village. Now the 10 year old boy and his Alien friend is staring everywhere. Now Jo and his family are at an award ceremony. The anchor is ready to read his name ... All are waiting for this International award. The anchor turns towards the Mike
"And the award goes to......"
"Jo .....Jo....Jo get up ....what where you doing? I thought you were taking your classes and now it's late get up ...your cricket bat is still on the kitchen floor...go take it and start your classes....otherwise you will not get the supper tonight....!" Jo jumped from his chair hearing Colin .He felt crazy. He was out of mind. He ran towards the oak tree it was all there. He ran back to the kitchen and saw his bat there...he again ran to his room and opened his book shelf everything was perfect ...he looked up to the fan...it was spinning alone...Jo realized that his new friend was only his evening dream...He laughed for a while and opened his notebook then started writing his dream as a story.
