BACK TO LIFE I never knew that my days would be paused, Inside these walls so high. Until then life never seemed so miserable. And I lay on the bed, Staring at the bare white walls, Waiting for death to take me away. Pain was squeezing out the life left inside me, I couldn't breathe, I couldn't see. And when all the rays of hope turned dark, There stood by me, The angels of real life. The empathy in their eyes, Were as pure as their white coats.   I felt life reviving back in me, The pain was slowly leaving me. The rays of hope were returning, It pierced the darkness of the disease. Finally, I was back again in my life's track, Proving that this too can be survived.
