A FAR RAY OF HOPE "It is very easy to be a sheep for a life time but it takes some courage to be a lion for a day ". This reminds us about the importance of overcoming all those obstacles that come in our life.There are still many Legends who inspire us to move forward in spite of the difficulties that we face. The life story of K R Narayanan, a common Keralite Who rose to the position of the First Citizen of India is a true inspiration to each and everyone of us. His parents were so poor that they could not keep even their children's bellies full. Some days, they slept hungry and on some days they could not sleep because of hunger. There is this amusing anecdote from K R Narayanan's life that each and every student must listen to at least once in his lifetime. It is as follows... there was this dog in his neighborhood which was a menace to everyone. People hated it but our hero always loved staring at it.. He admired the way in which the dog was treated by it's owner. He was so jealous that he wished to be a dog so that he could get better food.In reality that household pet got more delicious food than he did at home.For him life was a question mark and he knew that overcoming this trouble was the only solution.That gave him the inspiration to move forward. Despite the grave situation at home he really worked hard in his studies. He soon became a matter of Pride for his family when he became the university topper. He went on with his journalism degrees and became so famous in India that even Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India admired him so much.During this corona crisis , let his story be our inspiration... let it give us the power to move forward in life... to have faith that this is not the end and rather there is a ray of Hope somewhere far over there.
