ഉറുമ്പുകൾ

ഉറുമ്പുകളെ എനിക്ക് ഭയമാണ്
ഉറ്റവരുടെ തീരാത്ത പരിഭവംപോലെ
ഉറവ വറ്റാത്ത മഹാനദിപോലെ
നിരനിരയായി പോകുന്ന ഉറുമ്പുകളെ

     എനിക്ക് ഭയമാണ്

   ഏറെക്കാലം മുമ്പ്

ശവങ്ങൾ നിറഞ്ഞ രണ്ടു തീവണ്ടികൾ
അതിർത്തികൾ ലക്ഷ്യമാക്കി പാഞ്ഞുപോയി

    അഭയാർത്ഥിത്വം,

വിഭജനത്തിന്റെ സന്തതിയായി 

   അത് നമുക്ക് മറക്കാം

My Teacher The Multi Tasker'
She is my parent'
She loves and cares me.'
She is my eraser'
She eraseres evil thoughts from my heart'

    she is my pencil'

    She draws my character'

    she is my pen'

    she writes moral values in my heart'

She is my sharpener'
She sharpens my knowledge'
She is my doctor'
She cures my complexes'

     She is my light'

     She removes the darkness from my heart'

     She is my towel '

     She removes my sorrow'

She is the only one who '
Knows me and cares me'
So i love her forever'
And she is my world'

Influence of Social Media on Youth

                 “we don't have a choice on whether we do social media,the question is how will we do it”
                  online social media have gained great worldwife growth and popularity which has led to attractting attention from variety of researches globally.

Although with time all generations have come to embrace the changes social network has brought about, tenagers and young adults are the most fantic users of these media. So,social media is a term that describes the interaction between groups or individuals in which they produce, share and sometimes exchange ideas over the internet and in virtual communities.

                   The impact of social networks on young people is significant. Children are growing up surrounded by mobile device and interactive social networking sites such as Twitter,Face book etc. Its which has made the social media a vital aspect of their life. Social network is transforming the manner in which young people interact with their parents, pears as well as have they make are of technology.

It is inevitable to ignore the fact that nowardays social network plays an essential role in a teen's life generally. 1 out of 7 minutes are spent online by most of those who access internet. They stay connected and interact with each other even if they are miles apart. In addition,social media sites have provided a platform whereby the youth can create groups and pages based on their common decipline and end building connection and opportunities for their respective careers by updating various topic to discuses. Youth,also are being interviewed and interacted though social media as these makes many lives easier and efficient. On the other hand,it created social isolation. As the youth tend to spend many hours on these sites, they rarely have face interaction. Many scientists have evaluated that these can even lead people to a degradation in oure emotional, psychological as well as physical conditions. Also, many are mislesded through these sites and often youth have been “victims” and “criminals” of many cybercrimes. Also, it can provide a perffect platform of cyber bullying and providing details that increase risks of identity theft.

                           So, social networking clearly portrays both positive and negative aspects on the youth. They can assist young people to become more socially capable. However, they may also make them clumsy and incompetent, as well. So we should realize that social media is not really a media.The key is to listern, engage and build relationship as a worthy citizen.

മഴയുടെ കടന്നുകയറ്റത്തിൽ ഉറക്കം
നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട നീരസം
ഷർട്ട് ഇട്ട് തീർത്തെന്നു തോന്നുന്നു,
പക്ഷെ പ്രിയപ്പെട്ടവരെ നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട
വേദനയിൽ ആ മഴനീത്തുള്ളി
കരയുന്നതവർ അറി‍‍ഞ്ഞില്ല!
എങ്ങനെ അറിയാനാ,അതേസീറ്റിൽ
ഇരിക്കാൻ കഴിയാത്തവിഷമത്തിൽ
നിൽക്കുന്ന ഞാനല്ലേ അതു കണ്ടുള്ളൂ...
മാപ്പ്!ഇതിനെല്ലാം കാരണം ഞാനും..
