GOVT LP School Kanwathirtha is working in the 4th ward of Manjeshwar grama panchayath. At first this school was established during the year 1972 near kanwathirtha mata in a private building. After a few year s it shifted to kunjathur padavu and started the classes in temporary shed. Then the school was shifted to a new building in the year of 1979, and started the classes from 1-4. When strength of the students increased each classes had divided and got 8 classes. | |||
In the year of 1995 the school got 3 seperate building from DPEP. Now the structure of school building is L shape, with a huge play ground, stage etc. | |||
