The English club also penned down a one day workshop for English club members to develop their language skills. An English Carnival that would last for a week might take place at the end of the academic year. Each day would be compacted with variety of activities and the culmination of this carnival could be the ‘Film Fest’  during the day members can interact with a film director in person.

English Club Report

The English club which is the largest club of our school is delighted to present a vivid report on our club activities in the school during the academic year 2023-24. The club’s inauguration took place on 10 July 2023 along with all other clubs of the school. The English club members enacted “Seven Stages of Men” from the play ‘'As You Like It’'. The performance received a great applause from the audience.

On 10 October 2023 our club had the honour of hosting a special assembly that unravelled with grace and fervor. The event featured the inauguration and launching of two innovative programmes namely ‘'English Papa’' and ''English Cheer Group’' respectively. The chief guest, Mr. Jose D Sajeev, winner of National Best Teacher Award, graced the occasion with his esteemed presence and delivered the inaugural speech. The whole event was hosted by ''two witches and a clown''. It was a marvellous experience for everyone present there. The school manager Rev. Fr Jerome Alphonse and staff secretary Mr. Shyam Sakkarias graced the stage with their presence and words.

The English Pilots who act as the beacons of the English speaking community in our school were given away the badges by the guest of honour. An enlightening speech delivered by the respected chair , Mr. Glavious Alexander, Head of the English Department, followed artfully delving into the importance of being the member of an elite club . It shed light on the challenges faced by student community in conversing in English. He also emphasized the role of each pilot in fostering a supportive environment for his own growth and development.

The atmosphere was further charged with energy as an outstanding Western Dance performance took the center stage. The rhythmic beats and dynamic choreography injected a sense of celebration into the heart of our assembly, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present including the guest of honour who was full of admiration and sent a note of appreciation about the event later.
