     In the capital,  New Delhi Govt. data shows the average concentration of PM 2.5 plunged by 71% in the space of a week falling from 91 microgram per cubic metre on March  20 to 26 on  March 27, after the lockdown began. The World Health Organisation considers anything above 25 to be unsafe. Nitrogen dioxide went from 52 per cubic metre to 15 in the same period also 71%  fall. Mumbai , Chennai,  Kolkata,  Bangalore have also  record  a  fall in their air pollutants .

The  researchers in New York registered a  50% decline in  carbon monoxide levels caused due to car emissions.  while this situation is proving to be good for the environment. Scientist also worried that this numbers could rapidly spike up once these restore to normal. So we want to  reduce the use of fuels for the better environment.
