Akhil was a 13 year old  boy who was a good football player.He was the captain of the district team football club.He always dream of becoming an international player and spend hours for practice. But he was a cruddy,draggled,dusty boy.He never cared about his cleanliness.He never took bath,dressed properly,even never brushed properly.His parents forced him to be neat and clean, but it never concerned him.

         On one evening while playing,his coach announced about the state football selection camp which will conducted tomorrow.He also reminded everybody to practice well.He forewarned Akhil to dress neatly and to be clean.But Akhil never bothered that.He practiced very well till 7.00 pm until it was really dark.

         After reaching back home,he told his parents about the football selection and started eating without taking a bath or washing hands,His parents scolded him for this. After food his father told him to clean  his football boots.But he questioned back his father asking why.His father replied that you have a big day tomorrow,so be neat and clean. He never listened to that.After sometime his mother came and asked him to wear a clean  and neat dress tomorrow. But Akhil never listened to that also and went to sleep,.He woke up late in the morning and rushed to the ground wearing the same dress which he wore yesterday and taking his same dirty boots.

         The head of the selection committee ordered every footballers to assemble. Akhil also participated in the meeting.During the meeting,the committee announced that only 5 children will be selected to the state football team and the name of the selected members will be published in the notice board.Various tests were conducted and the final list of the selected players were published.Everybody came to see the selection list. Akhil was sure that he would be selected.But he was shocked when he found out that his name was not on the selection list.He stormed towards the committee and questioned why he was not selected.The reply of the coach stunned Akhil. The coach told that a good footballer should know the dignity of the football game.He should not humiliate the football game by wearing dirty boots and clothes. Akhil stood there speechless learning the lesson of his life.He lost his Dream because of his uncleanliness.
