Environment Environment may refer to the entire world or any part of it such as particular geographical area. It consists of both living and non-living things. Also, our surroundings includes biotic factors like human beings, plants, animals, microbes etc. and abiotic factors such as light, air, water, soil etc. Environment is a complex of many variables, which surrounds man as well as the living organisms. Environment plays an important role in the healthy living of human beings. It matters because it is the only home that humans have, and it provides air, food, and other needs. Humanity’s entire life support system depends on the well-being of all the environmental factors. Also, it maintains the ecological balance that will helpful for the existance of human beings. It provides food, shelter, air and fulfills all the human needs whether big or small. Moreover, the entire support of human depends wholly on the environmental factors. Also, our environment is the source of natural beauty and is necessary for maintaining physical and mental health. The environment regulates various natural cycles that happen daily. These cycles help in maintaining the natural balance between living things and the environment. Disturbance of these things can ultimately affect the life cycle of humans and other living beings. Nowadays human activities causes environmental degradation like pollution, global warming, ozone depletion, floods, earth quake, scarcity, rain fall, etc. So we must protect our environment. Also we are well aware of what is happening, not only in our country but also in the world. More the 22 million people in the world have been infected with covid-19 disease caused by corono virus. More than one lakh people of different countries were died due to this covid-19. So we must aware about it. Also, we must keep our surroundings clean and safe otherwise such infectious diseases will destroy the entire mankind. We know that only the environment can keep us alive. Without the blanket of environment we won’t be able to survive. Therefore we will protect the environment and also protect the future generation. “Imagine a fish Without water Can it survive?
