The school was Established by Late Sri M.Pakeera Shetty on 01-04-1945 at Kubanoor in Oddambettu Guttu Duggappa Shetty's thatched roof building. In the beginning the school was run by a teacher but later 5 more teachers joined in 1949 and it became a lower primary school in the year1952 and again upgraded as upper primary school in the year 1956
New buildings were constructed during the year 1963,1983,1985,1993,1997 and 2013 .At present there is enough accommodation and 7 classes with 16 divisions. Parallel English Medium classes were started in the academic year 2003-2004 onwards.
Now in this school there are LKG ,UKG and standards I to VII both in Kannada and English Medium.At present there is One Head master, 19 Teachers and 1 non-teaching staff rendering their service in this institution.
