Various programmes were conducted by English Club of GHS S Cherpulassery during this academic year

1.June 5 Environment Day celebration

Children prepared various posters. They planted saplings. Short speech on the importance of this day was delivered by Azniya of 9K

2.June 19 Reading Day

News paper reading competition conducted. Top three students from each class was selected

3.July 5 Vaikom Muhammed Basheer Day

Amrita and Adarsh of 9B presented some of his works. Picturisation of his characters were also done

4.July 27 Abdul Kalam Memmorial Day

Famous qoutes of Abdul Kalam were collected

Some of his motivational speech were also heard by students. Students prepared a writeup on Kalam a writer and scientist

5.August 15 Independence Day

Children prepared speech on the topic India of my Dream

6.September 5 Teachers Day

Children prepared greeting cards

7.November 14 Childrens Day

Profile of Jawaharlal Nehru was prepared......
