There was a time when peace,
Reigned the land with ease.
It was before the birth of greed,
That men met with all his needs.
It was when the trees so high,
Touched the serene sky,
That the seeds of joy were sown,
Reaping happiness all day long.
And then came the men with all their might,
Killing everything in their sight,
Trees and leaves and seas and bees,
Were all gone by a few eves.
Now here they stand grieving,
For every ounce of their greed,
While the land somehow is healing,
From the wounds of their deeds.
The land has all it's revenge set,
In the form of pandemics, rain and waves,
Waiting for men to dig more graves,
And, Isn't it time to repent yet?!!!
