     The English Club of GGHSS Malappuram conducted a News Reading Competition on June 13, 2025. As news reading is a daily activity in the school, this competition aimed to enhance students' news reading skills.
     "The Hindu" newspaper was distributed among the students, who were given a stipulated time to prepare and present news articles. After their presentations, 15 students were selected for the second round.
    Teachers from the English department, including Mr. Mohammed Iqbal and Mr. Aslam, initiated and guided the program, helping students develop their news reading and presentation skills.
