 സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യ സമര ചരിത്രത്തിൽ വീരോതിഹാസമായിരുന്ന മുഹമ്മദലി ജൗഹറിൻെറ പവിത്രമായ നാമധേയത്തിൽ 1979 ജൂൺ 26 ന് ഈ വിദ്യാലയം സ്ഥാപിതമായി. പി.പി. അബ്ദുറഹിമാൻ മാസ്റ്ററുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ രൂപീകൃതമായ  മുസ്ലിം എഡ്യുക്കേഷനൽ കൾച്ചറൽ ആൻഡ് ചാരിറ്റബിൾ അസോസിയേഷൻ(MECCA )എന്ന സംഘടനയുടെ കീഴിലാണ്  ഈ വിദ്യാലയം പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നത്.. ജനാബ് സി.എച്ച്. മുഹമ്മദ് കോയ സാഹിബ് വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ മന്ത്രി ആയിരിക്കെയാണ്  ഈ വിദ്യാലയം അനുവദിച്ചത്.  ഒപ്പം അന്നത്തെ സ്ഥലം എം.എൽ.എ ആയ ഇ. അഹമ്മദ് സാഹിബിൻെറ സഹായവും ലഭിച്ചു.   ഏ.കെ അബൂബക്കർ മാസ്റ്ററായിരുന്നു ആദ്യ പ്രധാന അദ്ധ്യാപകൻ. എ.കെ മൊയ്തീൻമാസ്റ്റർ, കെ അബ്ദുള്ളാ യൂസുഫ് മാസ്റ്റർ, ടി. മുഹമ്മദ് മാസ്റ്റർ എന്നിവർ പിന്നീട് പ്രധാനധ്യാപകരായി.  ഇപ്പോൾ സ്ഥാപനത്തിൻെറ പ്രധാന അധ്യാപക ചുമതല വഹിക്കുന്നത്  '''എ ''' '''നിഷ''' യാണ്. 2000-ത്തിൽ ഈ വിദ്യാലയം ഹയർ സെക്കണ്ടറി വിദ്യാലയമായി ഉയർത്തപ്പെട്ടു.. ഹയ.ർ സെക്കണ്ടറിയുടെ പി പി അബേദുറഹിമാൻ മാസ്റ്ററുടെ പേരിലുള്ള പുതിയ കെട്ടിടത്തിൻെറ ഉദ്ഘാടനം 2019  ജനുവരി 17 ാം തിയതി ബഹുമാനപ്പെട്ട‌ എക്സൈസ് വകുപ്പ് മന്ത്രി ടി പി രാമകൃഷ്ണൻ നിർവ്വഹിച്ചു.
