മലപ്പുറം ജില്ലയിലെ നിലംബൂർ താലുക്കിലെ കിഴക്കൻ മേഖലയിലെ എടക്കര ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്തിലെ പതിനാലാം വാർഡിൽ പാണ്ടിപ്പുഴയുടെ തീരത്തു സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരു കൊച്ചു വിദ്യാലായമാണ് ജി .എൽ .പി .എസ് പാതിരിപ്പാടം .1956 ൽ ആരംഭിച്ച ഈ സ്കൂൾ എടക്കര ഗ്രാമാഞ്ചായത്തിലെ ഏക സർക്കാർ പ്രാഥമിക വിദ്യാലയമാണ് . | |||
പാതിരിപ്പാടം ഗ്രാമത്തിന്റെ ഹൃദയ ഭാഗത്തു സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്ന ഈ വിദ്യാലയം 1957 നവംബർ 1 ന് ഏകാധ്യാപക വിദ്യാലയമായി ആരംഭിച്ചു .ഏതാനും സുമനസ്സുകളുടെ നിവേദനത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ അന്നത്തെ മലബാർ ഡിസ്ട്രിക്ട് ബോർഡ് പ്രസിഡന്റായിരുന്ന ശ്രീ.പി .ടി.ഭാസ്കരപ്പണിക്കാരായിരുന്നു ഈ സ്കൂൾ ആരംഭിക്കാൻ ഉത്തരവ് നൽകിയത് .തുടർന്ന് ഐക്യകേരളം വീണ്ടെടുത്ത ശേഷം ഈ വിദ്യാലയം ഇപ്പോഴുള്ള സ്കൂളിനടിത്തുള്ള ഷെഡിലാണ് പ്രവർത്തിച്ചുപോന്നത് .ആദ്യത്തെ അദ്ധ്യാപകൻ അട്ടപ്പാടി അഗളി സ്വദേശിയായ അബൂബക്കർ മാഷായിരുന്നു .ഈ നാടിന്റെ ആരാധ്യനായി മാറുവാൻ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് കഴിഞ്ഞു . | |||
1957 ൽ സ്കൂൾ സ്ഥാപിതമായ ശേഷം ഈ പ്രദേശത്തെ ഒരു കർഷകനും സ്നേഹനിധിയുമായ വെള്ളയൂർ സ്വദേശി രാമേട്ടൻ രണ്ടേക്കർ സ്ഥലം അനുവദിച്ചു .ഈ ഭൂമിയിലാണ് ആദ്യത്തെ കെട്ടിടം 1963 ൽ നിർമിച്ചത് .അന്ന് വണ്ടൂർ NES ബ്ലോക്കിന്റെ പരിധിയിലായിരുന്നു സ്കൂൾ ഉൾക്കൊള്ളുന്ന എടക്കര പഞ്ചായത് .വണ്ടൂർ BDC ചെയർമാനായിരുന്ന സ ;കുഞ്ഞാലിയാണ് സ്കൂളിനാവശ്യമായ കെട്ടിടം 80 X 18 അളവിൽ നിർമ്മിക്കാൻ 15000 രൂപ ഫണ്ട് അനുവദിച്ചത് .ഈ തുച്ഛമായ സംഖ്യ കൊണ്ട് ഈ കെട്ടിടം നിർമ്മിക്കാൻ സന്മനസ്സു തോന്നിയത് ഈ നാട്ടിലെ സാമൂഹിക പ്രവർത്തകനായിരുന്ന ശ്രീ .ടി.കെ.സേതുമാധവൻ നായർക്കാണ്. | |||
ഏകാധ്യാപക വിദ്യാലയമായി തുടങ്ങിയ ഈ സ്ഥാപനം 1957 ലെ ഇ.എം.എസ് ഗവണ്മെന്റിന്റെ കാലത്ത് ഒന്നിൽ കൂടുതൽ അധ്യാപകരുള്ള വിദ്യാലയമായി മാറി. | |||
