CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) Coronavirus disease (Covid-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discoverd Coronavirus.Most people infected with covid-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment.Older people,and those with underlying medial problems like cardiovascular disease,diabetes, chronic respiratory disease and cancer are more likely to develope serious illness. At first china started the Coronavirus disease and now the whole world is affected by it. These are the top ten most affected countries: USA ITALY SPAIN GERMANY CHINA FRANCE IRAN UK SWITZERLAND TURKEY Now coronavirus has reached more than 170 countries. As it reached more than 170 countries,WHO ( World Health Organisation) declares nCoV as a global pandemic.The total corona cases world wide- 2,190,303 , total death world wide-147,027 , total recorvered world wide-553,672. COVID-19 IN KERALA The Government of Kerala declared lockdown for quarantine. Day by day the cases of corona had been increasing but by the quarantine and the safety measures the people are taking have decreased the coronavirus cases. Government asked every citizens to to wash their hands every 20 mins and not to go outside untill their is any emergency situations.They also asked us to use hand sanitizers and alcohol based sanitizers. Kerala is the only state that mandates 28 days of home quarantine for those returning from countries affected by corona virus. Here are five ways to prevent the spread of coronavirus: 1.Stay home as much has he can. 2.Keep a safe distance. 3.Wash hands often. 4.Cover your cough. 5.Sick?Call ahead. Corona virus was first discovered in 1930's when an acute respiratory infection of domestic animals was shown to be caused by infectious bronchitis virus. Human corona virus was first discovered in 1960s. The earliest ones studied from human patients with common cold which were later named human coronavirus 229E and human coronavirus OC43. Fever, tiredness, and dry cough are some of the common symptoms of coronavirus. Some people may experience: aches and pains nasal congestion runny nose sore throat diarrhoea People with mild symptoms who are otherwise healthy should self-isolate. Corona virus affects different people in different ways.
