THE IMPORTANCE OF TREES. Trees play a key role in maintaining life on earth. Man and all other organisms on earth stay indebted to trees for the oxygen they release during the day time. The presence of oxygen enables us of our very existence on the planet. Trees causes rainfall. They stop floods and prevent soil erosion.
