Fresh Air 'UNLOCKED'       " Social distancing is the key to flatten Corona Virus". So, our PM declared lockdown from March 24 onwards and we're all in our home. I know we are feeling bored to be all the time in our home, and it's our vacation too... Even though lockdown changed our lifestyle, society, behavior, nature. There had occurred some rapid changes in our environment. Especially it affected the number of air pollutants in the atmosphere. Air Pollution is mainly increased by smoke from vehicles. These smoke cause some respiratory problems like lung cancer, asthma, etc. Another adverse effect of air pollution is the occurrence of acid rain. In fact, India is the largest country using many more vehicles and we can understand how much is the percentage of air pollution in Indian atmospheric layer. But now the number of nitrates in the atmosphere is decreased rapidly. Amount of nitrates - 2.5ppm (March last week) This means air pollutants in the atmosphere is much lower than last year. The situation in Kerala is not quite different By this, we can understand that lockdown helped to 'unlock' fresh air. Let's hope that this virus will be controlled..... Let's pray to God.....
