POLLUTION OF ENVIRONMENT AND NATURAL DISASTERS Ever since the beginning of the world, history is repeated with records of crime committed by man against the nature. Green forests have been cut down, valleys hallowed and ploughed continuously and then left dry, free flowing streams stopped, diverted for greater and greater material advancement. Development is a part of life but it should not be by destroying the nature. Powerful machines and other inventions of humans are some of the causes of environmental disasters.With inventions of power driven machines and development of modern techniques of exploitation of mineral wealth. In order to get a better life we have not stopped at merely destroying or polluting our environment but also polluting our indoors too. One of the examples for the environmental disaster is the Flooding of rivers in Kerala for the last two years. It was due to the heavy rainfall during the rainy season. Many people lost their lives their homes etc. It is better to prevent the problems before it break out. Many environmental problems have been faced by the human beings but still we have not learned that all these problems are born by their actions against the nature. This beautiful world is a wonderful blessing of God. We are supposed to protect this world. How do we rescue our environment from the hazards of an industrial society? There is no clear answer for this. Their are many other questions for which we could not get an answer. The environmental problems which we face nowadays are the result of the criminal act against the nature. We can adopt an area and keep it clean of garbage and other forms of waste. We should get our vehicles checked, generators in offices and buildings should be cleaned periodically. If we work in a factory, we must make sure that pollution control measures are being enforced without any compromise.We must try our level best to minimise the smoke and level of noise .
