The situation called for strong measures to counter coronavirus       Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has explained about the importance of ensuring people's participation in programmes to counter the spread of Coronavirus.  Everyone in the society should find time to clean up their home and sorroundings that day. it is important that those who engage in activities to curb the spread of coronavirus create awareness in the public about this deadly virus.  They should educate the public that regularly washing the hand, social hygiene and keeping social distance are effective tools to curb the spread of the disease. All should comply with the guidelines issued by the State Government and the Department of Health to curb the spread of the disease. As part of this, everyone should take the initiatve to ensure that the awareness campaign of the government and the health department reached the maximum number of people. They can use the services of their friends and clubs to ensure that the campaign is effective. We request that efforts should be taken to reach out to maximum number of the people in the state. We could overcome both flood and Nipah outbreak by our sheer determination.
