GANGA WEEPS

I, River Ganga, a pearly,
White emanated early.
From the vales of Himalayas.
Out stretching my waves as "Saras"

Exiguous vermilion birds praised,
My splendid scintillating beauty.
Croaking frogs, screeching bats,
And chirping birds conveyed their gratitude.

I innate from Gangothri glaciers.
And eventually cuddles Bay of Bengal
I was extremely ravished,
Because of my unsmudged banks.

Bobbing my head to the sun at day,
Cleansing my skin at evening,
Assimilating smirking moon at night,
Are the daily obligation of mine.

When the industries bloomed,
The humans became civilized.
My pearls became perished,
Ponderously my purity gloomed.

I'm not anxious about myself
I'm worried about all creatures,
Because I love them a lot.
But,Why don't the humans?
