CONSERVATION OF NATURE
Nature has provided us numerous gifts such as air, water, land, sunlight, minerals, etc...All these gifts of nature make our earth a place worth living. Existence on earth would not be possible without any of these. Now, while these natural resources are present on earth in plenty. Unfortunately, the necessity of most of these has increased extremely over the centuries due to growth in human population. Conservation of nature means the preservation of forest, land, water, minerals, etc&And to make sure that all these continue to be available in abundance. Thus all these natural resources make life on earth similar to heaven. Life would not be imaginable without these resources. Thus it is essential to conserve these resources in order to retain the environmental integral. Here is a look at the types of natural resources existing on earth and the ways to conserve them. 'Types of natural resources':- .Renewable Resources which occur naturally and will be reproduced natural .Non renewable Resources like fossil fuels and minerals that do not reproduce or refill very slowly.The majority of energy consumption is done by using non renewable resources, but our world is trying to encourage us to use renewable resources and nowadays vehicle manufacturing companies are designing vehicles 'powered by electricity and other renewable resources. 'How to conserve nature and its resources?' Many of the natural resources are being used at a faster rate as compared to their production. There is also a necessity for conservation of nature and the resources it offers. Here are some of the ways in which we can conserve nature:' Reduce water consumption:- Water is available in abundance in our planet, but we can only use a fraction of it as majority of it is sea water and pure water is frozen in our poles, so the conservation of water is also important. However if we keep using it at this speed, in the future there will be no water, so we need to conserve water. We can do this only by taking care of simple things like turning the tap off while brushing or reusing the leftover water to water the plants in our garden etc.'To reduce usage of electricity Though it is a renewable resource, it is also a majorly consumed resource which makes it availability scarce, there are many ways to produce it but many of them are not practical like using nuclear energy to produce electricity can cause radiation to people working in the plant and people residing near the plant. So we need to conserve it as it has become essential to our world. So it is advised to limit the usage of electricity. We can do this by taking care of simple habits such as turning off the lights after leaving our room, turning off the electrical appliances after use. Switching to energy efficient led bulbs can make a differences Protecting trees:-'Our environment is mostly consisted of trees and plants; they keep the balance of nature intact by producing oxygen and other life supporting elements. A recent study reveals that one lakh acre of forest is cleared daily for our needs and majority of it goes to printing press and furniture makers. So by reducing our usage of paper we can conserve our nature. Planting trees can also make a difference our government has told us that for every tree cut by us, two should be planted in its place. By doing this we are encouraging afforestation thus we will also have a part in the conservation of nature. Spreading awareness:-'Spreading awareness about the conservation of nature is always a necessary step. It can be achieved only when more and more people understand its importance and the ways in which they can help. We have to do it sincerely not like our Indian politicians, cause this is something more important than politics, it is our life, our existence in our planet. Therefore taking appropriate steps to conserve nature in its untouched form, it must be a priority for the human race. Only we can change what we have done; only human beings with their power and ability can save the nature from being exploited because the exploitation is also done by us so we should take stepS to protect nature, to conserve it.'
