Technology during Pandemic
Corona is a fast spreading virus. It started in Wuhan,China. But now the whole world is under the control of the virus.Organising curfews ,lockdowns, quarantining people are keeping the virus toll a bit low .But still death tolls are rising day by day.People are not getting enough hospital facilities.
The Rapid test, online video conferencing, special apps to track and help affected people, 24 *7 Hospital ambulance services, News channels, online purchasing, drones, special numbers to call in times of need... How lucky we are, if all these facilities weren't there what would have happened??
Suppose this virus outbreak happened in a time where there were no such facilities .That time we wont be updated with latest news. We won't know what is happening around us. No cure no test!!
Here we see the importance of technology .Technology can be used wisely for good deeds and unnecessarily also. Using technology wisely will be a fortune for us or if we use it the opposite way it will be our greatest foe.Playing games, opening unknown applications, and all will make us happy but not in the right way .Using it for learning ,finding something new, helping others, knowing about us is a good use of technology.
Technology can also be used for entertainment , but still too much of entertainment is also a bad use of technology. On the other hand technology have some bad effects on us and our nature. Technology includes television, mobile phone and other gadgets which are really helpful, but these are produced from factories .While making these ,a lot of unwanted gases get into the atmosphere and pollute air which destroys our nature.
Also so we might get diseases while breathing these gases .Watching television for a lot of time , staring at a mobile phone for a long time damage our eyes. These are some defects of technology.
Covid-19 death tolls are increasing day by day, still we are able to communicate with each other, schools are planning online exams and classes all because of technology . It helps the mankind a lot .
Use your time and technology wisely!!!
