Maipady is a village in Kasargod District of Kerala. The place is on the outer skirts of Kasargod, 10 km away from it. Maipady is famous for an ancient palace, the Maipady Palace, which was the seat of the Kumbla Rajas. Sri madanantheswara Vinayaka Temple,This temple known as "Madhur temple" a fine blend of Kerala and Karnataka styles of architecture, is about 3 km away.

Mangalore Airport and Kasargod Railway Station serve the village. Local buses connect Maipady with Kasargod and Madhur.
