THE WAY GOD HELPS.

There was a small village near a river .Everyone lived happily and offered regular prayers at the village temple. Once during the monsoon season ,it rained heavily . The river started overflowing and flood entered the village . Every one started to evaluate their houses and set out to go out to the safe place. One man ran to temple . He quickly went to priest room and told him The flood water has entered into our homes and it is rising quickly and water also started to enter the temple . We must have the village as in not time it will sink under the water ! Everyone has set out to go to the safer places and you must come alone . The priest told that the man , I am not like you all and I have full faith in god . I trust the god that he will come to save me . I will not leave the temple ; you may ! So the man left . Soon the water level started to rise and reached waist height . The priest climbed on the desk. After a few minutes; a man with the boat a came to rescue the priest . But the priest again refused to leave giving him the same reason. So the boatman left. He kept praying to god to save him as the water kept rising . The priest climbed to the top of the temple , soon the helicopter came . They dropped the rope ladder for the priest to rescue him. But the priest refused to leave by giving him the reason . At the last when temple submerged under the water . The priest kept his head up and started complaining ; Oh lord ! I worshipped you for all my life and kept my faith in you ! Why didn't you came to save me ? The god appeared in front of him with a smile . He said , Oh mad man , I came to save you three times ! I came running to you to ask you to leave forward the safest place with the other villages ; I came with a boat , I came with helicopter ! What is my fault ? If you didn't recognize me ? STUB BORN

           NEVER
                 PAYS

I met Siya when I was in tenth grade. I was talkative and carefree one and she was an overprotective mature one . I late to admit it but she was the studious one while I barely manage to pass . But there is one thing that I hate about her . It is her stub borness. Once in the last day of school we were standing at the terrace of our school two-storied building .I noticed some oil spilled on the high platform of the terrace . Just then Siya decided to stand in the platform .I stopped her but she took the stub born expression and jumped into the platform . Suddenly she slipped , lost her lost her balance and she fell down . She broke her hand and leg . When she reached her home after she had taken discharge from hospital I told her “Stub born never pays ”........

NIGHT FAIRY

In the winter night soaking wet in the falling rain where it hastens to please explain......

It was supposed to ride on you ,
to shower on grasses sparkling' DEW'
How shall I now drop this dew? back I want to ride on you.....
I want to paint in every dream,
Lovely flowers and beautiful stream
Where fear keeps out and so does screams
Wait , I have to paint every 'DREAMS.'......

BEHOLD THE CITY

Memories left to be traced by time bricks on the broken walls line And moment pass to days and years And still waits to face the fears Those walls that have fallen Have fails in them

whispers of night that disguised the foe
of falling blood and head bowed,
The city has dead as bricks and bones
And left for history are papers and stones

READ AND READ

The best food for the mind is reading. It has a joy of its own, which nothing else can give. The pleasure one derive from reading is recreation. Reading gives us joy and we forget the sorrows of life. In addition to that it becomes a constant source of inspiration and enriches the human soul.

We should be very careful in choosing books. If bad books come into the hands of the young, their minds will be infected with those evils. Many youths have been ruined because of bad books. Good books on the other hand are purifying. They enlarge, enrich their minds and mould their character. The habit of reading is a sign of culture. It is a great source of enjoyment and the best means of utilising leisure......

STAGE FRIGHT

In our life or at least once in life we have experienced stage fright . What exactly is stage fright? Is it the fright we experience when we are asked to perform on a stage in front of millions ? No. It is just a thought in our mind .I have experienced this so called fright .I am trying to overcome it. It is the lack of confidence that leads to stage fright. It is our body's reaction towards an uncomfortable situation .Usually when stage fright occurs our palms become wet, we feel dizzy ,we feel like darkness entering our eyes and we feel nausea . All these occur because we are not comfortable with the situation .

You can easily overcome this by just confronting the situation .Tell your mind that you are comfortable .Take deep breath to control your heart beat .In my life I have come across many situations in which I had to speak in front of a great dice .I used to stammer and hold on to the mike without speaking anything . Slowly this began to change but I still have wet palms and shivering hands . Just think that it is all in the game and never quit saying I can't do it “Its all in the game”

STEP MOTHER

I was still in my teens when my mother met with an accident and died. My father ,who wasn't very fond of my mother ,remarried an eighteen year old girl . I was very annoyed with this decision but could do nothing but accept it .

My step mother was an unruly teenager . Just because she is a little older than me she forces her rules on me. Firstly she took away all my make up and accessories that my gave me. I got really angry and charged at her when my dad came and slapped me for the first time . She was happy to see my dad slapping me. That night I decided to escape from my house . I took all my necessary things including a sum of 1,00000 rupees from my dad's suitcase and went to the railway station .On my way an auto driver chased me to a forest. I was left all alone and couldn't grab my bearings.
I called my dad but my step mother attended the call.

She sounded worried .I told her were I was and to come soon .Within five minutes she reached there and picked me up .She said that she was really sorry for what she had done and I also added my apology .She said that she had got so worried and didn't tell my dad as she thought that he would slap her again .From that day we realised each other's mistakes and led a happy life.

                                                                                                                            Written by Helena.V.Ahamed

PROBLEMS OF PLASTIC USE

My heart is a simplest soft flute Made of blood and flesh Some holes here and there through which melodies of universal brotherhood flow out gently and smoothly I don't know

Whether your ears are capable or not to hear these songs perhaps owing to the facility function of my flute in all health It is nothing but sincerely I am sure These melodies intangible To your fingers..... Invisible to your eyes.... See my flute is an open one Nothing hidden in the fathoms of it written by Lekshmi Typed by Adithya.p
