As an English High School Teacher, I am an avid reader and also attempt poetry and prose. It is essential to introduce to our pupils the importance of reading widely and appreciating all forms of literature. It is the key to development of vocabulary and speaking skills, In this highly competitive world of career, building good communicative skills in English is indeed inevitable. I always tell my pupils these things, Rather than imposing our views or lecturing them, we must introduce this very casually and in a friendly manner!
The best medicine in life is laughter. There is nothing more valuable than peace of mind. When surrounded by stress, I often watch comedy shows and funny movies. Movie songs from 80s and 90s cool my frayed nerves and I regain a serene view of life lost to the daily chaos!
