<p style="text-align:justify"><font size=6></font size>Vanimal Crescent High School was founded in 1976 in the heart of Vanimal Panchayat in the eastern hilly district of Kozhikode district. The school has played a vital role in educating this area where education was backwards.
 
  PV Kunhummed Haji, p. Tharuuhiji, professor TK Kunhbadullah, T. Kunjabuddilla Master, C. K Mummaster. Schoolchildren of the school. Kasaragod DDE Shri. E. K. Suresh Kumar, poet and lyricist Kunnath Moithu Masters and Thamarassery CEO Sodanandan Master were the teachers at this school.
കോഴിക്കോട് ജില്ലയിലെ കിഴക്കൻ മലയോരപ്രദേശമായ വാണിമേൽ പഞ്ചായത്തിന്റെ ഹൃദയഭാഗത്ത് 1976– ൽ ആണ് വാണിമേൽ ക്രസന്റ് ഹൈസ്കൂൾ സ്ഥാപിച്ചത്. വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ പരമായി പിന്നാക്കം നിന്നിരുന്ന ഈ പ്രദേശത്തെ വിദ്യാസമ്പന്നമാക്കുന്നതിൽ ഈ വിദ്യാലയം മുഖ്യ പങ്കുവഹിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.  ജ: പി.വി കുഞ്ഞമ്മദ് ഹാജി, പി. തറുവൈഹാജി, പ്രൊഫസർ ടി.കെ കുഞ്ഞബ്ദുല്ല, ടി. കുഞ്ഞബ്ദുല്ല മാസ്റ്റർ, സി. കെ മമ്മുമാസ്റ്റർ തുടങ്ങിയവരായിരുന്നു. സ്കൂളിന്റെ ആദ്യകാല സാരഥികൾ. കാസർകോഡ് ഡി.ഡി.ഇ ശ്രീ. ഇ. കെ. സുരേഷ്‌കുമാർ, കവിയും ഗാനരചയിതാവുമായ കുന്നത്ത് മൊയ്തുമാസ്റ്റർ, താമരശ്ശേരി ഡി.ഇ.ഒ സദാനന്ദൻ മാസ്റ്റർ എന്നിവർ ഈ വിദ്യാലയത്തിലെ അധ്യാപകരായിരുന്നു. 
 
      
      
       പത്രപ്രവർത്തകനും നിരൂപകനുമായ ശ്രീ. കുഞ്ഞികണ്ണൻ വാണിമേൽ, ഡി.വൈ.എസ്.പി മാരായ ശ്രീ. വി. എം അബ്ദുൽ വഹാബ്, ശ്രീ. ചന്ദ്രൻ എന്നിവർ ഈ വിദ്യാലയത്തിലെ പൂർവ്വ വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളിൽ ചിലരാണ്. സ്കൂൾ കലോത്സവത്തിലും കായിക മേളകളിലും സംസ്ഥാന തലത്തിൽ ഒന്നാം സ്ഥാനമുൽപെടെ വിവിധ സ്ഥാനങ്ങൾ നിരവധി തവണ നേടാൻ ഈ സ്കൂളിലെ വിദ്യാർത്ഥി പ്രതിഭകൾക്ക് കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ട്.  പഠനരംഗത്തെന്ന പോലെ പാഠ്യേതര രംഗത്തും സംസ്ഥാനതലത്തിൽ തന്നെ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരു വിദ്യാലയമാണ് വാണിമേൽ ക്രസന്റ് ഹൈസ്കൂൾ 8,9,10 ക്ലാസുകൾ മാത്രം പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിരുന്ന ഈ വിദ്യാലയം  2014 ൽ ഹയർ സെക്കണ്ടറി സ്കൂളായി ഉയർത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.
