Founder of this school was Sri. Komath Kunhambu Master (late). Initially it commenced in a temporary building with thached roof in a neighbouring plot. Subsequently it was shifted to the present premises during 1923. As a first step the school was functioning as a Primary school with 5 classses, i.e. from I to V std. During 1929 it was upgraded as a Govt. recognized school. During 1958, the school elevated as a UP school adding Vi and VII class. During 1966, Govt. accorded recognition to the above classes. Then there were 2 division each in all the classes. Other than regular class teachers, there were specialist teachers in Urudu, Sancrit and Hindi . A work experience teacher was also sanctioned to the school then.
