കല്ലൂർകുന്നിനടുത്തുള്ള ഒരു സ്ഥലമാണ് വട്ടത്താനി. പ്രാചീനമായ ഒരു ക്ഷേത്രം ഇവിടെയുണ്ട്. ഈ പ്രദേശത്തെ താമസക്കാരനായിരുന്നു വാകയിൽ ഭാസ്കരൻ. ഇദ്ദേഹം വർഷങ്ങൾക്കുമുന്നേ മരിച്ചുപോയി. ഇദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ അനന്തരവകാശികൾ ഇപ്പോൾ ഇവിയെ താമസിക്കുന്നു.
