The Enigma of Corona virus
There is presently a world wide Panic and a frenzied rush
To discover a vaccine or medicine to combat corona virus
It is said , it is more deadlier than the dreaded Swine Flu
What the source is? None with the slightest clue
It is deadly because it spreads like wild fire
Scientists believe it has come from snakes and bats
For once the culprits are not the infamous rats
There are seven types of virulent corona virus
A few names in short are SARS, COVID-29 and MERS
It has created a tumult, akin to a global upheaval
To find an antidote, the initial attempt has been feeble
Woe- be - tide! If you have a cold and want to sneeze
Be sure you'll be handcuffed even if anyone hears you wheeze
You'll lose your freedom and will be strictly quarantined
Two weeks in isolation- in public you daren't be seen
The virus has even dared to invade the Holy Vatican- Rome
With fear, people are stirring up a global pandemonium
Though the symptoms might be first a cough and cold
Yet ,most vulnerable are they who are infirm and old
With strict restrictions even on trade business is at a stand still
International travel being barred and borders sealed too
Stock markets have dipped and manufacturing had made a dive
We must be practical and to maintain nationality we must strive
The world has paralysed with a tiny virus that has such might
To stall the entire world’s working , apologetic for its plight
Rules are simple - wash your hands with soap and water, often maintain social distancing
stay home, stay safe
Thus united we stand to eradicate the deadly mischief maker out of this world
