Environment
Environment is the surrounding in which we live. The environment maintains the ecological balance of life on earth. It provides food,shelter, air and fulfils all human needs.
The environment gives us countless benefits, the forest, plants and the tress purifies the air and absorb harmful gases. It regulates the vital systems that are essential for ecosystem. It also maintains the quality of life on earth. It regulates various natural cycles that help in maintaining balance between living things and the environment. Environment also provides fertile land, water, air, livestock and many essential things forour survival.
Now we are facing environmental degradation. Human activities are the major cause of environmental degradation. The activities that causes environmental degradation is various types of pollution,defective environmental policies, global warming, ozone depletion etc.
The overuse of natural resources will create a situation in the future where there will be no resources for consumption.
Corona Virus and the Environment:-
In the present situation the whole world is suffering from the spread of corona virus ( covid 19). It has affected our environment badly. Overloaded hospitals, unemployment, increase in price of food products,economic disaster caused stress in millions of people. Many countries around the world have licked down and quarantined citizens to slow
down the spread of virus. But on the other side we can see that corona virus have some positive effect on the environment. The main impact is the significant drop in the pollution mainly air pollution which has been
noted in many parts of the world.
We can say that it is environment that keep us alive. Without the
blanket of environment we won’t be able to survive.
