We started this academic year with a lot of fear and apprehension as we could not go to school and have a face to face interaction with the learners. But still we needed to transact the units to the learners and make them actively participate in the teaching learning process. To accomplish this we implemented a set of activities and incorporated them with each units of all classes.

Based on day celebrations, the first one June 5th "World Environment Day", the learners were asked to prepare posters, placards, slogans, simple poems related to the theme.

It was then followed by the "Reading Weak" which commenced on June 19. Based on it the learners of class V, VI and VII were given separate activities.

• Class V - Read a book and retell it.
• Class VI - Speech "Importance of Reading".
• Class VII - Introduction of a book and its review.

All the above activities were recorded and were sent to the teachers.

Various activities related to Unit 1 of each class was done by the learners.

Class VI Unit 1 "Rain of Love"

Family Tree - Collection of Photograph of their family members and made a family tree out of it.

Greeting Card Preparation

Class VII Unit 1 - "Natures Plenty"

Posters, Placards,Letter writing,skit

Similarly each unit was incorporated with the "Hello English" activities to enhance and love their creative skills.

All the above activities could improve as well as enhance the functional skills of the language like listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Thereby enabling them to actively participate in the teaching learning process even in this trying times.
