About Me:- Govt Boys Higher Secondary School Chittur -Palakkad, Kerala, India . District school Chittur of his Highness The Maharajah of Cochin,was Inaugurated on 15th February 1870(1046 Kumbham 1). The school was started in a farm house with 12 Boys in Standard 1, 10 Brahmin boys and 2 sudra boys. First Headmaster was Sri Srinivasan.Presently UP,HS,HSS & VHSE Courses are offered by this Institution.1500 pupils are studying here.
