                                       Sharan Puthumana (Harishanth Sharan)



                         Sharan Puthumana (Harishanth Sharan) is an actor and dubbing artist who is active in malayalam television and film industries. He has acted in more than 100 serials and 40 films. Recently Sharan won the Best Dubbing Artist Award initiated by the state government.

Personal Life

      Sharan was born as the son of Mr. Kalidas Puthumana. His father is a stage play writer, director and teacher. Sharan is married to Rani Chandran and the couple is blessed with a daughter, Gauri Upasana. Rani, daughter of malayalam actor-producer Manjeri Chandran has acted in a short film and also worked with a television channel as freelancer.

Acting Career

      Sharan Puthumana started his career as a television actor. During these years, he has given life to a number of wonderful characters. With 40 serials in his credit, Sharan is much popular among the television spectators. He played Fr. Joseph Ilikan in the soap opera ‘Ente Pennu’ which was aired in Mazhavil Manorama.

Sharan also made his presence in silver screen appearing in 40 films including ‘Manjadikuru’, ‘Ente Sathyanweshana Pareekshakal’, ‘Veeraputhran’ and ‘Bangalore Days’. He has rendered voice for telugu superstar Ram Charan Teja in the malayalam dubbed films. He is also the recipient of Kerala State Film Award for Best Dubbing Artist 2014 initiated by Kerala state government.
