This year ,English Club was inaugurated on July 11/2016. A meeting was held in the T Hall with the participation of the English Club members members.A secretary and eleven members executive committee was selected from different classes.Sambath of X D was elected as the secretary of the club.Prizes were distributed for reading and handwriting competitions held earlier month. | This year ,English Club was inaugurated on July 11/2016. Elocution and short story writing competition was conducted in the month of August.A reading week was observed in connection with Reading Day. English assembly was conducted by the students of the X'th standard.There is 'Uchabhashini' in the school at noon time. It was decided that some classes would make their presentations in English. Winners of the literary competitions held in the school were given prizes in the school assembly. | |||
Our students also participated in the various literary competitions organised by Hawa Institute,, Marathmcode. Marva Usman (X F) won the First position in English Essay Writing. Shifana N M (X F) and Sivani (VIII F) secured the First and Second position in English Short story writing. Risni secured the second position in Poem Recitation. Our students also won the secured position for Role Play competition held in Sikshak Sadan Chavakkad conducted by DEO. We also had student participation in 'Fiesta' organised by District Centre for English, Thrissur. | |||
