ചരിത്രം
Edneer in Kasaragod Taluk of Kerala State is a remote village.Five decades ago there was no facility for formal education .Though inherited a great culture for centuries through Edneer Mutt which is a pilgrim center propagating Advaita , Art, Culture, Music and other arts through Thotakacharya inheritance.
In 1959 the then Peetathipathi His Holiness Sri.Sri.Ishwarananda Bharathi Swamiji felt the need of formal education to the poor villagers and started a school from class 8th to 10th providing free food , shelter and education.The entire cost of education was met by himself. Swamiji’s High School is started with 22 students on 11.06.1959.Qualified teachers were employed to provide Quality education. His Holiness Sri.Sri.Keshavananda Bharathi Swamiji lead the lamp lit by his predecessor to further height and got the school aided and classes from 5th to 10th started in 1975.Importance is given for moral and cultural values as Swamiji himself is a great artist in all walks of art. The students of the school got high recognition in District and State level curricular activities. Two of the teachers got national and State awards in the field of education. n 1992 the Institution went to further hights and Plus Two courses in Science is started.Classes from Nursery to 12th Standard is providing quality education stressing on moral , ethical and Cultural values of the country.

The total covered area of school is 2.5 acras. Total class rooms in our school (5 to 10): 11 Rooms. In our school Laboratory and Library are in good condition. Total number of books available in the library around 2500. All class rooms are electrified with goood condition.
