Give nature priority An environment is a natural world that surrounds us. It is very important to keep it clean in order to live healthy and peaceful. However, environmental pollution has become one of the bigger threats for Earth. It can affect our future one day. People suffer from their own mistakes. Pollution endangers our existence and destroys our living environment. The future will either be green or not at all. Nature is sending a message with the coronavirus pandemic and ongoing climate crisis. According to the U N's environment chief, Inger Anderson, humanity was placing too many pressures on the natural world with damaging consequences and warned that failing to take care of the planet is not taking care of ourselves. The Covid-19 was a 'clear warning shot' given,, that far more deadly diseases existed in wildlife and that today's civilization is 'playing with fire.' It was almost always human behavior that caused diseases to spill over into humans. To prevent further outbreaks, both global heating and destruction of the natural world for farming, mining, and housing have to end, as both drive wildlife into contact with people. The immediate priority is to protect people from the coronavirus and it's spread. But our long term response must be to tackle habitat and biodiversity loss. Continuous erosion of wild spaces has brought us uncomfortably close to animals and plants that harbor diseases that can jump to humans. It's almost always a human behavior that causes it and there will be more in the future unless we change. We should always remember that human habitat is the main reason for disaster and diseases happening in nature. It has to be prevented. So, let's take care of the world that surrounds us.
