Covid 19-The Deadly Pandemic 2020 Corona virus disease ( covid 19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered virus called Corona. The origin of this virus is said to be in Wuhan, China. Most people infected with the corona virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without any special treatment. Aged people, children below two and those with major medical problems like cardio vascular diseases, diabetes, chronic respiratory diseases and cancer are more likely to develop serious illness. The best way to prevent and slow down transmission is be well informed about the disease, the way it spreads, and the problems it develops. Protect yourself and others by washing hands or using an alcohol based rub frequently and not touching face. Corona virus spreads primarily through droplets of saliva or discharge from the nose when an infected person coughs or sneezes. At this time there are no vaccines or specific treatment for covid 19.WHO will provide updated information as soon as clinical findings become available. Precaution methods: wash hands regularly with soap and water or clean them with alcohol based hand rub avoid touching others face. cover mouth and nose while coughing or sneezing. stay home if feel unwell. Practice social and physical distancing by avoiding unnecessary travelling and staying away from large groups of people.
