<tr><td class="diff-marker" data-marker="−"></td><td style="color: #202122; font-size: 88%; border-style: solid; border-width: 1px 1px 1px 4px; border-radius: 0.33em; border-color: #ffe49c; vertical-align: top; white-space: pre-wrap;"><div> {{PSchoolFrame/Pages}}</div></td><td class="diff-marker" data-marker="+"></td><td style="color: #202122; font-size: 88%; border-style: solid; border-width: 1px 1px 1px 4px; border-radius: 0.33em; border-color: #a3d3ff; vertical-align: top; white-space: pre-wrap;"><div> {{PSchoolFrame/Pages}}<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">മലയാള ഭാഷയ്ക്ക് ആദ്യമായി വ്യാകരണ ഗ്രന്ഥം രചിച്ച ഹെർമൻ ഗുണ്ടർട്ടിനെ സംസ്കൃതവും മലയാളവും പഠിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിൽ മുൻപന്തിയിൽ പ്രവർത്തിച്ച ഊരാച്ചേരി ഗുരുനാഥൻമാരുടെ ജന്മദേശമാണ് ചൊക്ളി. ഇവിടെ ഇരുപതാംനൂറ്റാണ്ടിൻറെ ആദ്യഘട്ടത്തിൽ അഞ്ചാം തരത്തിന് മുകളിൽ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം നടത്തുന്നതിനുള്ള സൗകര്യം ഇല്ലായിരുന്നു.ഈ അവസ്ഥയിലാണ് മേനപ്രം എലമെൻററി സ്കൂളിൻറെ(മേനപ്രം എൽ പി) മാനേജരും ഒളവിലം എൽ പി സ്കൂളിൻറെ മാനേജരും ഒരു ഹയർ എലമെൻററി വിദ്യാലയത്തിനു വേണ്ടി പ്രവർത്തനം ആരംഭിച്ചത്. ഒരു പ്രദേശത്ത് നിന്ന് 2 വിദ്യാലയത്തിൻറെ മാനേജർമാർ ഹയർ എലമെൻററി സ്കൂളിനു അപേക്ഷ നൽകിയതിനാൽ 2 വിദ്യാലയങ്ങൾക്കും അനുമതി ലഭിച്ചില്ല. തുടർന്നു 2 മാനേജർമാർമാരും സംയുക്തമായി അപേക്ഷ നൽകുകയും ചൊക്ലി ടൌണിൽ ചൊക്ലി ഹയർ എലമെൻററി സ്കൂൾ അനുവദിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. 1927 ഏപ്രിൽ 1 നാണ് ഈ സ്കൂൾ സ്ഥാപിതമായത് . മേനപ്രം എലമെൻററി സ്കൂളിൾ മാനേജർ കോട്ടയിൽ കൃഷ്ണൻ മസ്ടരും ഒളവിലം എലമെൻററി സ്കൂൾ മാനേജർ വരെരീടവിന്ടവിട ഗോവിന്ദൻ ഗുരുക്കളും സംയുക്ത മായാണ് ചൊക്ലി ഹയർ എലമെൻററി സ്കൂൾ നടത്തി വന്നത്.1952 ൽവരെരീൻടവിന്ടവിട ഗോവിന്ദൻ ഗുരുക്കൾ മാനേജർ പദവിഒഴിയുകയും ചെയ്തു.1961ൽകേരളത്തിലെക്ലാസ് ഘടനയിലുണ്ടായ മാറ്റത്തെ തുടർന്ന് ചൊക്ലി ഹയർ എലമെൻററി സ്കൂളൾ ചൊക്ളി യുപി സ്കൂളായി മാറുകയും ചെയ്തു.</ins></div></td></tr>
