Never had I imagined in my
wildest dreams,
I would end up in my mother's hometown, a
Small village in Alappuzha during the lock down days.
Usually I
am the kind who could never stay away
from Trivandrum for more than two days.
So here I was in the home where
my mom
grew up. My Grand father is a very loving person. He
is in his old age. I get immensely pampered by him.
My grandmother cooks for me the yummiest meals with
whatever limited
vegetables
and
groceries get from
market these days. My mom who just happened to
return from Delhi just the day before lockdown was
announced, helps me do all our home work assignments.I am
glad she is here with us safe during these times.
My mom's younger sister my 'Kunja' is so kind and
affectionate. She prepares variety juices, shakes, desserts
for me on most days. My mom's younger brother
is so funny and cracks me up always. He plays with
me cricket in our small front yard in the evenings.
We have a lovely garden too in this home. There
are plenty of jack fruits and mangoes now available.
To top it have three new little kittens
in our home. It feels amazing to see them climb one on top of
the other and playfully move around. I
am enjoying every moment of my day here.
These 'Lock down' days are actually God given blessed days to realise the
many
beautiful little things that would have
gone
unnoticed on
the other busy days
of our lives.

ഈ ഭൂമിയിലുള്ള മനുഷ്യരാശികൾ എല്ലാപേരും പാലിക്കേണ്ടതും ചെയ്യേണ്ടതുമാണ് ശുചിത്വം.

നമ്മൾക്കും അടുത്തുള്ളവർക്കും ചെയ്യേണ്ട ഒരു നന്മ ആണ് ശുചിത്വം. നമ്മുടെ ശരീരം എത്ര മാത്രം ശുചിത്വമായിട്ട് ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുന്നുവോ അത്രമാത്രം സമൂഹത്തിനു നന്മയാണ്. നമ്മുടെ ശുചിത്വം സമൂഹത്തിന്റെ ശുചിത്വമാണ്. രോഗാണുക്കളിൽ നിന്നും വലിയ മഹാമാരിയായ അസുഖത്തിൽ നിന്നും നമ്മെ കാത്തു രക്ഷിക്കുന്നത് ശുചിത്വമാണ്.

ശുചിത്വമായിരിക്കാൻ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കേണ്ട പ്രധാന കാര്യങ്ങൾ:

1. ഉറക്കത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ഉണരുമ്പോൾ ആദ്യം രണ്ടു കൈകളും നന്നായി കഴുകുക. കാരണം നാം ഉറങ്ങുമ്പോൾ കൈകൾ എവിടെ സ്പർശിക്കുന്നു എന്ന് നാം അറിയുന്നില്ല.

2. ബാത്‌റൂമിൽ കയറുമ്പോൾ ചെരുപ്പ് ധരിക്കുക. ടോയ്‌ലെറ്റിൽ പോയാൽ കൈകൾ സോപ്പ് ഉപയോഗിച്ച് കഴുകുക.

3. നഖം മുറിക്കുക.

4. ആന്തരിക അവയവങ്ങളിലുള്ള രോമങ്ങൾ കളയുക.

5. ആഹാരം കഴിക്കുമ്പോൾ കൈകൾ കഴുകുക. കഴിച്ചതിനു ശേഷവും കൈകൾ കഴുകുക.

6. ആഹാരം അടച്ചു വയ്ക്കുക. ആഹാരം കഴിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഉള്ളം കയ്യിൽ വച്ച് കഴിക്കരുത് കാരണം ഉള്ളം കയ്യിൽ ചിലപ്പോൾ ബാക്റ്റീരിയ കാണും.

7. പൊതുസ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ മലവിസർജനം നടത്താതിരിക്കുക.

8. പൊതുസ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ തുപ്പിയാൽ മണ്ണിട്ട് മൂടുക.

9. ചുമയോ തുമ്മലോ ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ കൈയോ തൂവാലയോ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് മറയ്ക്കുക.

10. ഉറങ്ങുമ്പോൾ കൈയും കാലും വൃത്തിയാക്കുക.

The Corona virus pandemic has completely suspended our day to day life. This has happened on an individual level, as our routines have been abandoned in favour of social distancing. Millions of people are working from home and schools are closing. Grocery stores shelves are empty. There are so many sources of stress during the COVID-19 pandemic. But we have to overcome such situations. We are really blessed to live in the God’s own country. I am proudly saying that I am living in Kerala. Our government supported us in every way. Here is the time to awaken everyone from darkness and always keep positive thinking. This is a lesson to everyone and to get an opportunity to change our lives in a good manner. All are living in a busy world and there is only one motive, that is to make money. We are living in a selfish world. In my opinion, this is a chance to recreate the all good olden ways of life. So we need to follow a healthy way of life. For that we should change our way of living. ‘Health is wealth’ so we should always keep our physical as well as mental strength. During my pandemic days I am doing exercises like yoga, cycling, meditation etc. It will help us to inculcate a lot of energy and boost our stamina. Also do not forget to maintain a healthy diet. Now a days I am spending my time to engage in cooking also. My mother introduced new healthy new recipes at home. We are experimenting new recipes with available things. It is very delicious and nutritious as well as boosts our immune system . Growing plants is one of the activity I am enjoying to do. I am choosing plants that grows very easily and can be found anywhere. Gardening helps to relieve stress and keeps us busy. The most important thing is, the best time to spend time with our family. During our busy school life we may not get enough time to talk to our family and spend quality time with them. Helping our parents and grandparents in the household chores makes them very happy. Drawing, painting, sketching are our another hobbies. It gives me so much pleasure. Then I am watching entertaining TV programmes and news. This is the best time to develop our reading habits also. To sharpen our brain we can play games like chess, carroms and other board games. Above all of these we never forget to pray every day for the poor and the needy especially those who do not have access to adequate health care. My heartfelt and sincere prayer to all those who are suffering this pandemic. It’s time to open our mind for a new beginning.

‘Raphael Luca’ walks through the prison corridor. Only a day ago, he was walking like a free bird in the streets of New York. He always had a pleasant smile and a heart to help others. He would never hurt even an ant. He lived a peaceful life in a studio flat in the city. Prison life was getting unbearable to Raphael. He had to find a way out. He spent days and nights trying to think of a plan to leave this place. He kept thinking of a way to somehow trace the villain who framed him for a crime that he didn’t commit, to take revenge.. but how long would he have to wait, only time would tell.
‘Victoria‘was a smart girl who was free spirited. She had come to New York with a dream of becoming an Architect. ‘Andrews’ was a computer Game Developer. He had only recently landed in New York. He was only getting to know the city.
It was Raphael Luca who had helped Victoria and Andrews settle down in this tough city. Raphael was a dear friend for them. They both missed the presence and guidance of Raphael. As they wondered what to do next to get Raphael out of prison, they heard a knock on the door. It was close to midnight and they wondered who it would be. Andrews opened the door slowly and peeped. He was surprised to find Raphael Luca. Raphael decided to drop all revenge after the villain himself came forward and surrendered.
Raphael, Victoria and Andrews decided to come together to form ‘Team Heroes’ to do something more meaningful in this city. Team Heroes took an oath to do whatever they could do, to try to make this city free of corruption and crime, a city that would be safe for children, greener and pollution free, thus contributing in a small way to make this world a better place.

It is education that differentiates men from animals. In other words, we can say that a man without education is no more than an animal. Education brings perfection in man’s life. Hence, it is necessary to educate one and all. The world today is full of competition. Only the man with a good education will be able to face any competition. But it is unfortunate that thousands of our small children remain deprived of even basic education. They are seen engaged in various activities such as rag picking, collecting garbage from households, doing work as domestic helps. These children don’t know what is meant by going to school. These children should be saved at all costs. They must be sent to school so that they may get at least basic education. Awareness should be spread in the country in order to highlight the importance of education for all. Each and every boy and girl is entitled to go to school.

NEVER ENDING LOVE

Parents are like flowers. Flowers give nectar to honeybees like that
parents give love and care to their children.
Once, there was a boy named Madhu. He never
liked his parents. He would always fight with them.
Then, he was grownup. Till that time also he was fighting
to his parents. So, he decided to build a house for his own to
another city. He also had a job. He didn't tell his parents
about that. He went and when his
parents realised it they
were very sad and crying all day. Aftersome months, Madhu
met with an accident while he was driving. He lost his one eye and need to change one kidney. It was in the newspaper. When his parents saw it, they rushed to the hospital and saw their son. That time he was unconsious. So his parents told the doctor that they will help him by giving one eye and one kidney. His father gave his one eye and mother gave him one kidney. And they went back home. Madhu didn't
knew anything. He went back home happily. And the one day,
while he was jogging he saw his parents and he realised
everything he cried and cried in front of his parents he said
sorry to them and their parents said 'Noneed why are you
crying and saying sorry. We are your parents and they
went home together happily.
This is parents. Respect them, love them and care them.
