}}The history of technology is the history of the invention of tools and techniques and is one of the categories of world history. Technology can refer to methods ranging from as simple as stone tools to the complex genetic engineering and information technology that has emerged since the 1980s. The term technology comes from the Greek word techne, meaning art and craft, and the word logos, meaning word and speech. It was first used to describe applied arts, but it is now used to described advancements and changes which affect the environment around us.

New knowledge has enabled people to create new things, and conversely, many scientific endeavors are made possible by technologies which assist humans in traveling to places they could not previously reach, and by scientific instruments by which we study nature in more detail than our natural senses allow.

Since much of technology is applied science, technical history is connected to the history of science. Since technology uses resources, technical history is tightly connected to economic history. From those resources, technology produces other resources, including technological artifacts used in everyday life.

Technological change affects, and is affected by, a society's cultural traditions. It is a force for economic growth and a means to develop and project economic, political, military power and wealth.

}}The history of video games goes as far back as the early 1950s, when academic computer scientists began designing simple games and simulations as part of their research or just for fun. At M.I.T. in the 1960s, professors and students played games such as 3D tic-tac-toe and Moon Landing. These games were played on computers such as the IBM 1560, and moves were made by means of punch cards. Video gaming did not reach mainstream popularity until the 1970s and 1980s, when video arcade games and gaming consoles using joysticks, buttons, and other controllers, along with graphics on computer screens and home computer games were introduced to the general public. Since the 1980s, video gaming has become a popular form of entertainment and a part of modern popular culture in most parts of the world. One of the early games was Spacewar!, which was developed by computer scientists. Early arcade video games developed from 1972 to 1978. During the 1970s, the first generation of home consoles emerged, including the popular game Pong and various "clones". The 1970s was also the era of mainframe computer games. The golden age of arcade video games was from 1978 to 1982. Video arcades with large, graphics-decorated coin-operated machines were common at malls and popular, affordable home consoles such as the Atari 2600 and Intellivision enabled people to play games on their home TVs. During the 1980s, gaming computers, early online gaming and handheld LCD games emerged; this era was affected by the video game crash of 1983. From 1976 to 1992, the second generation of video consoles emerged. 

The third generation of consoles, which were 8-bit units, emerged from 1983 to 1995. The fourth generation of consoles, which were 16-bit models, emerged from 1987 to 1999. The 1990s saw the resurgence and decline of arcades, the transition to 3D video games, improved handheld games, and PC gaming. The fifth generation of consoles, which were 32 and 64-bit units, was from 1993 to 2006. During this era, mobile phone gaming emerged. During the 2000s, the sixth generation of consoles emerged (1998–2013). During this period, online gaming and mobile games became major aspects of gaming culture. The seventh generation of consoles was from 2005 to 2012. This era was marked by huge development budgets for some games, with some having cinematic graphics; the launch of the top-selling Wii console, in which the user could control the game actions with real-life movement of the controller; the rise of casual PC games marketed to non-gamers and the emergence of cloud computing in video games.

In 2013, the eighth generation of consoles emerged, including Nintendo's Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, Microsoft's Xbox One, and Sony's PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. PC gaming has been holding a large market share in Asia and Europe for decades and continues to grow due to digital distribution. Since the development and widespread consumer use of smartphones, mobile gaming has been a driving factor for games, as they can reach people formerly uninterested in gaming, and those unable to afford or support dedicated hardware, such as video game consoles.

}}Although the start of the history of film is not clearly defined, the commercial, public screening of ten of Lumière brothers' short films in Paris on 28 December 1895 can be regarded as the breakthrough of projected cinematographic motion pictures. There had been earlier cinematographic results and screenings by others, but they lacked either the quality, financial backing, stamina or the luck to find the momentum that propelled the cinématographe Lumière into a worldwide success. 

Soon film production companies and studios were established all over the world. The first decade of motion picture saw film moving from a novelty to an established mass entertainment industry. The earliest films were in black and white, under a minute long, without recorded sound and consisted of a single shot from a steady camera. 

Conventions toward a general cinematic language developed over the years with editing, camera movements and other cinematic techniques contributing specific roles in the narrative of films. 

Special effects became a feature in movies since the late 1890s, popularized by Georges Méliès' fantasy films. Many effects were impossible or impractical to perform in theater plays and thus added more magic to the experience of movies. 

Technical improvements added length (reaching 60 minutes for a feature film in 1906), synchronized sound recording (mainstream since the end of the 1920s), color (mainstream since the 1930s) and 3D (mainstream in theaters in the early 1950s and since the 2000s). Sound ended the necessity of interruptions of title cards, revolutionized the narrative possibilities for filmmakers, and became an integral part of moviemaking. 

Popular new media, including television (mainstream since the 1950s), home video (mainstream since the 1980s) and internet (mainstream since the 1990s) influenced the distribution and consumption of films. Film production usually responded with content to fit the new media, and with technical innovations (including widescreen (mainstream since the 1950s), 3D and 4D film) and more spectacular films to keep theatrical screenings attractive. 

Systems that were cheaper and more easily handled (including 8mm film, video and smartphone cameras) allowed for an increasing number of people to create films in varying qualities, for any purpose (including home movies and video art). The technical quality usually different from professional movies, but became more or less equal with digital video and affordable high quality digital cameras.
 
Improving over time, digital production methods became more and more popular during the 1990s, resulting in increasingly realistic visual effects and popular feature-length computer animations. 

Different film genres emerged and enjoyed variable degrees of success over time, with huge differences between for instance horror films (mainstream since the 1890s), newsreels (prevalent in U.S. cinemas between the 1910s and the late 1960s), musicals (mainstream since the late 1920s) and pornographic films (experiencing a Golden Age during the 1970s).

കണ്ണൂർ ജില്ലയുടെ വടക്കുകിഴക്കൻ ഗ്രാമമായ ആറളം പജ്ഞായത്തിലെ വെളിമാനം പ്രദേശത്ത് തലയുയർത്തിനിൽക്കുകയാണ് ഈ മോഹനമായ കലാലയം. ഒരു സരസ്വതീക്ഷേത്ര മെന്ന നാട്ടുകാരുടെ മോഹം പൂവണിഞ്ഞത് 1979 ജൂലൈമാസം അഞ്ചാം തീയതിയാണ്.താല്കാകലിക ഷെഡ്ഡുകളിൽ പ്രവർത്തനമാരംഭിച്ച ഈ സ്ക്കൂളിന്ന് നല്ല നിലയിൽ പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു വരുന്നു.ഈ വർഷം 17ഡിവിഷനുകളായി 663 കുട്ടികൾ ഈ കലാലയത്തിൽ പഠിക്കുന്നു.26 അധ്യാപകരും 4 അനധ്യാപകരും ഇവിടെ ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്നു.

Are we doing enough to preserve nature? If we do not preserve nature, we have to face a lot of difficulties and problems. If we look at the world, you see the confusion and the chaos that we encounter or face.
 
There is shortage of water in most of the countries. There are food shortages. People do not have proper houses to live in. There is serious pollution everywhere. Sea level is rising. Air pollution problem is very serious. We are using too many vehicles. Illicit drugs are being sold in all countries. Alcoholism has become a problem. People are under mental stress.
 
Natural world is governed by the laws of biology, chemistry and physics. The planet has been there for billions of years. We are all protected and governed by nature. 

A healthy environment provides nutrients that flow up the food chain, from plants to animals, to provide energy. The nutrients are then recycled to repeat the process.
 
We must understand these very basic principles of nature and try to live with nature. We should not depend too much on concrete structures and all sort of chemicals. 

By preserving nature, the planet and all its inhabitants are guaranteed a constant supply of clean water and fresh air. 

We very often go against nature. We depend too much on artificial things. We want air conditioned rooms. We do not like to walk. We do not like to prepare our meals. We want everything readymade.
 
Trees produce the oxygen that humans and other animals need to breathe and absorb the carbon dioxide that they exhale. Trees absorb airborne pollutants such as carbon monoxide, sulphur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide. They also remove toxins from the soil and help to reduce noise pollution. 

We do not realise the importance of nature. We try to destroy nature. See the man-elephant conflict. See how many water collecting areas we have filled and constructed concrete structures; how many trees we are destroying daily. How many are planting trees. Is not this a very tragic situation?
 
Clean water is necessary for all living things. All animals and plants are made mostly of water and require a constant supply of clean water to remain healthy.
 
How many water preserving areas have we destroyed? How many rivers and tanks have we misused and have become polluted? 

Water falls to Earth as rain to water plants, provide drinking water for animals, and maintain rivers, lakes and oceans. It evaporates and forms the clouds that then release rain to repeat the water cycle. 

We must understand this process or the cycle and preserve the nature. We must protect the environment. Nature has given us rivers, canals, lakes, oceans and forests. There are various types of birds and animals. We must protect wildlife. 

Overbuilt environments disrupt and overwhelm nature’s processes by removing trees and polluting the water and air, which leads to decreased biodiversity and overall natural health. 

Let us think about nature more seriously. Let us respect nature. Let us live close to nature. Let us protect wildlife. Let us not cut trees and build concrete structures everywhere. Animals are not destroying the environment. It is we who destroy the environment and make even the animals also suffer.

}}An epidemic viral desease with the symptoms of pneumonia spread over the people of Wuhan Street in China. World Health Organization on the month of January declared the outbreak of corona virus and named it as covid-19.
Later the world witnessed the horrible spread of corona virus. In India the first case was reported at Kerala in the medical students from Wuhan. That initiates the war against the deadful desease. Later the reported cases increase upto 12000 in India. In Kerala the situation is quite satisfied. The number of reporting cases decrease by the 1/4 of recovery cases by April 17. This is the result of inevitable and selfless work of health workers. It includes not only doctors and nurses but also the health department and administration. Many medical staffs had been reported with Corona virus in many parts of our country. This is the same situation that every health workers have to face throughout the world.
Our health workers play the prominent role in controlling the spread of virus. Our health workers including doctors, nurses, paramedics, sanitation workers deserves more than gratitude. 
We can't regret their care and selfless work for us.
They stay away from their families. 
Their courage, selflessness, determination and focus have ensured us that we will overcome this difficulty.
They are the real heroes, the people with the arms of God; the warriors with stethoscope and thermometers. We should salute them for this selfless service.

Although the start of the history of film is not clearly defined, the commercial, public screening of ten of Lumière brothers' short films in Paris on 28 December 1895 can be regarded as the breakthrough of projected cinematographic motion pictures. There had been earlier cinematographic results and screenings by others, but they lacked either the quality, financial backing, stamina or the luck to find the momentum that propelled the cinématographe Lumière into a worldwide success. 

Soon film production companies and studios were established all over the world. The first decade of motion picture saw film moving from a novelty to an established mass entertainment industry. The earliest films were in black and white, under a minute long, without recorded sound and consisted of a single shot from a steady camera. 

Conventions toward a general cinematic language developed over the years with editing, camera movements and other cinematic techniques contributing specific roles in the narrative of films. 

Special effects became a feature in movies since the late 1890s, popularized by Georges Méliès' fantasy films. Many effects were impossible or impractical to perform in theater plays and thus added more magic to the experience of movies. 

Technical improvements added length (reaching 60 minutes for a feature film in 1906), synchronized sound recording (mainstream since the end of the 1920s), color (mainstream since the 1930s) and 3D (mainstream in theaters in the early 1950s and since the 2000s). Sound ended the necessity of interruptions of title cards, revolutionized the narrative possibilities for filmmakers, and became an integral part of moviemaking. 

Popular new media, including television (mainstream since the 1950s), home video (mainstream since the 1980s) and internet (mainstream since the 1990s) influenced the distribution and consumption of films. Film production usually responded with content to fit the new media, and with technical innovations (including widescreen (mainstream since the 1950s), 3D and 4D film) and more spectacular films to keep theatrical screenings attractive. 

Systems that were cheaper and more easily handled (including 8mm film, video and smartphone cameras) allowed for an increasing number of people to create films in varying qualities, for any purpose (including home movies and video art). The technical quality usually different from professional movies, but became more or less equal with digital video and affordable high quality digital cameras. 

Improving over time, digital production methods became more and more popular during the 1990s, resulting in increasingly realistic visual effects and popular feature-length computer animations.
 
Different film genres emerged and enjoyed variable degrees of success over time, with huge differences between for instance horror films (mainstream since the 1890s), newsreels (prevalent in U.S. cinemas between the 1910s and the late 1960s), musicals (mainstream since the late 1920s) and pornographic films (experiencing a Golden Age during the 1970s).

The history of film technology traces the development of film technology from the initial development of "moving pictures" in the 19th century to the present time. The history of video games goes as far back as the early 1950s, when academic computer scientists began designing simple games and simulations as part of their research or just for fun. At M.I.T. in the 1960s, professors and students played games such as 3D tic-tac-toe and Moon Landing. These games were played on computers such as the IBM 1560, and moves were made by means of punch cards. Video gaming did not reach mainstream popularity until the 1970s and 1980s, when video arcade games and gaming consoles using joysticks, buttons, and other controllers, along with graphics on computer screens and home computer games were introduced to the general public. Since the 1980s, video gaming has become a popular form of entertainment and a part of modern popular culture in most parts of the world. One of the early games was Spacewar!, which was developed by computer scientists. Early arcade video games developed from 1972 to 1978. During the 1970s, the first generation of home consoles emerged, including the popular game Pong and various "clones". The 1970s was also the era of mainframe computer games. The golden age of arcade video games was from 1978 to 1982. Video arcades with large, graphics-decorated coin-operated machines were common at malls and popular, affordable home consoles such as the Atari 2600 and Intellivision enabled people to play games on their home TVs. During the 1980s, gaming computers, early online gaming and handheld LCD games emerged; this era was affected by the video game crash of 1983. From 1976 to 1992, the second generation of video consoles emerged.

The third generation of consoles, which were 8-bit units, emerged from 1983 to 1995. The fourth generation of consoles, which were 16-bit models, emerged from 1987 to 1999. The 1990s saw the resurgence and decline of arcades, the transition to 3D video games, improved handheld games, and PC gaming. The fifth generation of consoles, which were 32 and 64-bit units, was from 1993 to 2006. During this era, mobile phone gaming emerged. During the 2000s, the sixth generation of consoles emerged (1998–2013). During this period, online gaming and mobile games became major aspects of gaming culture. The seventh generation of consoles was from 2005 to 2012. This era was marked by huge development budgets for some games, with some having cinematic graphics; the launch of the top-selling Wii console, in which the user could control the game actions with real-life movement of the controller; the rise of casual PC games marketed to non-gamers and the emergence of cloud computing in video games.

In 2013, the eighth generation of consoles emerged, including Nintendo's Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, Microsoft's Xbox One, and Sony's PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. PC gaming has been holding a large market share in Asia and Europe for decades and continues to grow due to digital distribution. Since the development and widespread consumer use of smartphones, mobile gaming has been a driving factor for games, as they can reach people formerly uninterested in gaming, and those unable to afford or support dedicated hardware, such as video game consoles.
